Song's started, not finished yet though. Spent most of my free time the past 2 days working on my car. Drivable car > recording Crue covers. It'll be up by the end of the weekend, though.

This is disappointing. Holding up a project he initiated, asking for a drum track, promising to complete it, BS story about brakes, then finally blowing the whole thing off claiming he didn't want to feed the hate.

I call BULLSHIT on the whole thing. The reason the plug was pulled is because he didn't want to look bad in front of the Iggy fans, not the Iggy haters. This was a project Stevie offered to put up on the main page. It wasn't something Iggy could spin as a "half ass attempt" and get away with it. It had to be his best effort.
