If you go back to the beginning of this thread, there was a period of time where no one could watch the video because you took it down. Then Quantavius uploaded his version but it had no sound. Then Scaryhead posted his "Beat It" version. It was AFTER that that Itwalksamongus uploaded his. The only reason he did it was because Quantavius' had no sound. Otherwise it would have been pointless.

The MI vid and the first swiped vid were up at the same time. Mi found the swiped vid by go to the page of the person that commented on the original vid.

It was literally days after yours was taken down that the other one was put up.

You can insist all day long that they were up at the same time but anyone who was reading this thread from the beginning knows that's absolutely not true.

And why would MI Japan click on their profile anyway? What reason would they have to do that?

Okay, Mummy, let's say your version of the story is true - they were up at the same time and that's how MI Japan found it.

That still doesn't make sense.

MI Japan would have immediately notified YouTube about it, correct? We were all watching that video DAYS after yours was taken down. Yours was taken down on the 19th - the link to Itwalks' clip was posted on the 23rd. I watched the video again on the 26th and posted a comment from it. Grendel posted on the 28th that it was taken down.

According to you, it takes YouTube 9 days to respond to copyright infringements. Hahahahahaha!!!

Anytime YouTube becomes aware that a video or any part of a video on our site infringes the copyrights of a third party, we will take it down from the site. We are required to do so by law.

Looks like they take that kind of thing seriously. Not the kind of thing they'd wait 9 days to do.

Regarding Vidgate, these facts remain -

1. I had MI Japan take down my original video.
2. MI Japan had the video taken down that was put up by the person who commented on my original video.
3. I never notified MI Japan of the imposter video. The first I knew they knew about was when our director in Tokyo called me asked what this was about.

I'm here, and I know what happened. Anyone else is guessing.

Those aren't facts. You want everyone to believe they're facts but when you look closer at your version of the story, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

The videos weren't up at the same time and even if they were, why would MI Japan click on someone's profile just for making a comment? And why would it take YouTube 9 days to respond to them?

Even if they were, the Itwalks video was still up 9 days after yours was taken down.
