First off, who is this guy? This picture's been up on Football365 and I am going nuts trying to identify this presumably very famous footballer.

Secondly, Lofty - after QPR (who have been in the financial doldrums themselves) I follow Exeter City. Having been relegated from the then Third Division into the Conference, the money was gone. Debts were spiralling out of control and a successive parade of shysters (including Uri Geller's son) came in and lost more cash. A good board was finally put in place but debts remained seemingly insurmountable.

Then they got Manchester United in the FA Cup. Not only that, they drew the first leg at home, and go to play a replay at Old Trafford. That one stroke of luck saved them, and now they've just been promoted into League One. The fact is that sheer luck got the Grecians up and running again. Let's hope something happens to Cork City too. I hear the winding up order has been confirmed today. My family is originally from Cork, and we have a couple of Rebels amongst us.

I think its Zat Knight, currently of Villa but he used to play for Fulham.

Huntelaar is going to AC Milan for 15 million euros

I always saw Huntelaar to be more of a Premier League or Bundesliga player

I know it was only a friendly, but apparently United looked good last night.

Valencia by all accounts is playing like a winger should - creating chances for others.

ManU and Chelsea on Sunday could be interesting, unless everyone plays carefully to avoid injuries at this stage.

a good striker. Only functions in a certain system. Playing wise he's alot like Van Nistelrooij. He's not the man to make a Messi like action.

Huntelaar is the type of striker United should have signed instead of Berbatov.

Saw the Villa beat Fiorentina yesterday in a friendly, I know they are only friendlies but thats Porto, Juventus and Fiorentina all beaten in pre season.

Also , Fabian Delph made his debut an he looks a decent player, maybe not first team next year , but he has the potential to be awesome!

not a clue why we signed beye though!!

United by far the better team against Chavski. It should be 3-0 right now. Even Berbatov is looking interested.

I only saw the first half, went to see the new Harry Potter flick when half time came.

Hopefully Park won't start so many games this season.

It's a blow to lose Nani as I think to have any real chance of not missing Ronaldo so much United need two wide men to provide the ammunition for the strikers.

It was mentioned that City offered Messi a blank cheque, so he could name his price. Not that he would join them anyway.
