I loved the Punk stuff. The used one of their biggest matches of the year to let him do his thing which is a good thing. WWE needs some strong heels right now and Punk is nailing it.

Biggest problem with Punk's RR performance is, and this is typical, it was The H who came in and threw him out. Should have been someone who isn't stale and could use the rub. Also, during Punk's rants, it would have been awesome if they brought someone in like RVD or Sandman. If you're going to let him build up the gimmick, then go all out with it. Someone like The H would probably be the absolute LAST guy in the industry right now that should have been the one to take Punk's heat there. But you know what they say about old dogs and new tricks. We could really use another torn quad right about now because he simply doesn't get it and probably never will.

Agreed,Punk was one of the highlights of the match. I don't think it mattered who eliminated him after the performance CM put on. Nobody really gets a rub from eliminations unless they throw out half the people in the match.

I guess one of the reasons Tommy Dreamer left is because they were getting rid of ECW. He posted this in a twitter.

If that were the case he would have left back in 2001. This was ECW in name only. Dreamer is kinda dumb cause he gave up a WWE office position to go back to wrestling. The office job could have lasted him for years and they get benefits, health insurance, etc.

I gotta admit this week's raw was a pretty enjoyable. I still think guys like Sheamus, the miz, cena, kofi, and orton all suck dick but all the matches this week had meaning which kept things interesting plus the younger guys didn't come off as boring when placed with or against the older guys like HHH, HBK, Big Show, and Edge.

-Pretty cool to see more crossover appearances from smackdown. Cool to see CM Punk and Batista . It keeps the show fresh and unpredicatable when Smackdown stars invade Raw. You could only watch Hornswaggle for so long.

-Shatner was GOLD!

- Bret/Vince segment was amazing.. Bret's punches did look pretty stiff. You could see McMahon spit out a little bit of blood as he got up. Did not expect Batista at all. The storyline has taken a new twist. Will Cena get involved now? or Shawn Michaels??

-It is obvious that Bret can't take any bumps. I thought Batista was going to powerbomb Bret but instead just kept punching him in the gut with his jacket over his head. Looks like they are avoiding all head contact with Bret. McMahon also avoided slapping Bret while Batista held him .. Vince spit in his face instead. I don't know how this will work since Bret pretty much can't do anything. Its almost obvious more wrestlers will get involved to carry the physical part of the feud now that Batista is involved.

- Pretty cool storyline with Shawn Michaels. Will this storyline lead him into the Bret/ McMahon angle? I could see the scenario Kid-wicked posted happening wiith the way shawn has been acting lately. .. but who knows.. batista being involved kinda shook things up a bit

I haven't paid close attention to wrestling in years, but the Bret/Vince storyline has me interested again, mainly cause I thought it was one of the few things that will never happen. It'll be interesting if TNA moves to Monday Nights.

I was hoping the Vince/Bret stuff would eventually lead to Bret backing the Hart Dynasty at Mania. Who knows... maybe it will be Bats/Vince vs. The HD. Doubtful, but still...

As for Bret... the guy had a freaking stroke! Even the Batista stuff seems like it should be a little too much for someone like Bret. Last thing I want to see is Bret in any sort of match. It would be tough to watch one of the best workers of his era go out there and look like shit and be protected. Just have him slap the sharpshooter on Vince after whoever he is backing wins, and let him get the proper send off that he never got a chance to get.

i agree, have Bret be the reason HBK loses again to Taker. During the celebration Vince comes running down, Taker tombstones Vince, then Bret applies the sharpshooter for awhile...show goes off the air!

Maven tossing Taker out FINALLY got him over. If the match is booked smart enough, you have a good shot at getting a half dozen or so guys a nice rub from it. Punk was getting over huge with the crowd at the RR. The crowd was chanting his name and were really getting behind him. Once The H came out, you could almost sense that the life in the building was being sucked out. It was the wrong time for him to come out, and again, he was the absolute WRONG guy to toss Punk.

It's just typical of the type of guy he is though. Outside of Edge, Punk was given more of a chance to shine than any other worker. He was pretty much the only one they seemingly went out of their way to allow him to advance his gimmick and storyline. For a guy who has done some really bad business and did all he could from a storyline perspective to kill guys like Kane, RVD, and Booker's ascent, it just reeks of more of the same from him.

I know he's a huge mark for himself, but there comes a time when maybe you have to let some of these guys who are more talented than you and look like they can do big business, go out there with more than the purpose of "get yourself over so we can feel you to The H."

Again, at this point... WWE desperately needs him to tear another quad because as long as he's in the fold, he's going to continue to look at guys ascending to the next level as guys he can use to keep himself over.

I feel bad for Mr.Anderson,he won money in the bank. Road to Wrestlemania with him would have been entertaining for weeks then cashed it in at Wreslemania, won the belt...on his way to being a major star, and now he does his thing that is laughable in TNA, and taking orders from Hulk whos acting is as good as it was in Mr Nanny

I was sad when WWE cut him, he had it all, such a shame

They released him because he was constantly getting injured and his first match back after his last injury... he nearly broke Randy Orton's neck. Apparently Vince had enough of him and let him go over it.

This. He was apparently very sloppy. Between almost injuring one of their top guys on a routine move, his anti-steroid comments only to fail a wellness test a few weeks later, constantly injuring himself, and having a very cocky attitude... he really left them with no choice.

He's got all the charisma in the world, but he's shit in boots in the ring. Would make an EXCELLENT manager, but should really stay out of the ring.

It's a good thing he quit using his original WWE finisher. He would have broken someone's neck eventually with that move...

I like that card..I thought Y2J would win the Chamber to face Edge
Cena vs Batista, dosnt close the event, then thats fine, Batista will win

Taker/Kane vs Straight Edge..that would be great if Straight Edge were the tag champs for 6 months or so, but winning the belts Monday then dropping them at Mania..not a fan of that.
at the end Kane rings the bell, and Luke changes to Festus again and loses to a Tombstone could be entertaining

Triple H vs Shawn thats fine, at least they will be done in 1 match and not taking up another slot
Shawn will win

Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase, I hope the fathers get involved in the feud

Money in the Bank ..thats were Sheamus,Drew Mcintyre,R-Truth, Kahli,Kofi, John Morrison,Christian,Mvp, Shelton B,Rey will end up

The Miz and Big show vs ??
no Bret vs Vince

card not 100% right I suppose, but those internet sites always have some info right, mostley

There'll still be Bret vs Vince in some way. They'll back Cena and Batista respectively, and if Cena wins Bret gets 5 minutes with Vinnie, or something of that nature.

You know damned good and well that Bret is slapping a sharpshooter on Vince at 'Mania...

I agree with that. I never thought Bret could do even a simple street fight. Dude had a stroke and people want him to take bumps,in a street fight? He will, like you said put the sharpshooter on Vince and that is what people wanna see anyway.

If this is true, they have to get the belt off Sheamus soon. Then how does Batista from SD get a title shot at Cena? I guess that Vince will just grant it to him somehow.

Overall, I am not a fan of this card but we will see how it shakes out.

I guess the Divas title won't last too long,if this card is to be believed.

Edge v. Jericho--- could be pretty good
Cena V. Batista--- does anybody really care... except for the Brett/Vince angle
HHH v. Shawn--- this has been done before. Wrestlemania IMO shouldn't be repeats.
Taker/Kane v. Straight Edge--- has possibilities
Orton v. DiBiase--- match of the night!!
Money in the bank--- entertaining
Womens Title Unification--- Blah
Miz/Big Show v. Celebrities--- don't waste the time with non-wrestlers performing in the ring. This is WRESTLEmania!!!!!

I wonder why no Hart Dynsaty?
Edge v Jericho should NEVER even be considered a Headliner match.
it's a first match or second at most. That storyline is WAY too old... nobody gives a flying shit anymore.
The only way that match will be any good is if Jericho finally rips those blah black tights wide open down the back from his ever growing ass. The dude is completely out of shape and has a believablity factor of ZERO.

Taker/Kane v Straight Edge Society?
Seriously?
Luke Gallows? He doesn't belong at Wrestlemania. He belongs in a jumpsuit pushing a mop in the dressing room.
and Kane.. well.. they let DOOF Zigler beat him 2 times in a row... they can't expect him to be a driving force anymore. He's a joke now.

Miz/Big Show v. Celebrities ~ VA, I'm gonna have to disagree with ya here.. There is a tradition of celebrities at Wrestlemania.. (thank you Mr. T.).. but... THE MIZ? He just needs to change his motto to:
"I"M AWFUL"

Cena v Batista ~Yawn~ ..

HHH v Shawn ~ what freakin retard thought that storyline up? (I sure hope they aren't getting paid for that writing)
Micheals is leaving... so they are gonna have him go out like this?
They need to drop the Straight Edge society Straight off the Edge of the earth and give Undertaker and Shawn the last match.

Money in the Bank *sigh*
In the past, some of these matches have been interesting, but...
With Mysterio leaving for knee surgery right after Mania, he would be the obvious winner. It will give him an "in" when he returns. He can waltz in and beat down Wide as Barn Walls of Jericho to get the title again and be immediately back on top.
But, with the stupidity going on in the writing room right now, the winner will probably be Mike "Oops" Knox to follow the Short Bus theme of the night.

VA if things don't shape up better than this... We'll just wait for Summerslam.

I like The Miz. Really really hated him for years. But he kind of grew on me like a fungus. Part of it is that he's an Ohio boy, but I digress.

I'm still a little doubtful that the card posted will be the exact card. I can see a few tweaks that might be made. But we'll see.

Edge vs Jericho will be the 3rd match out of the gate...LOL But they'll still call it "Main Eventing" Wrestlemania...

Speaking of Jericho...

www.thefightnetwork.com

The sequel to Chris Jericho's highly acclaimed ‘A Lion's Tale' book will be released September 12th in Canada and below is the description of the book, which picks up where the last one left off with Jericho's August 1999 debut in the WWE:

A Lion's Tale documented Chris Jericho's journey from small-time dreamer to big-time superstar, from Winnipeg, Canada, to undisputed WWE heavyweight champion of the world. Having achieved his wildest dreams in A Lion's Tale, Chris Jericho's sequel kicks off just as the fantasy begins to unravel. Faced with endless internal politics on his rise to the top of the WWE company ladder, Jericho has to draw on the super-human resources that got him there in the first place. There are bruising encounters aplenty both inside and outside the ring. He reveals why he temporarily left WWE, includes the inside story of his time in Hollywood, and opens the can of worms that is life on the road with Fozzy. He also re-visits the premature birth of his twins and the pain of his mother's death, as well as the shock of Eddy Guerrero's and the Benoit family deaths. As upfront and outspoken as A Lion's Tale, the sequel is outspoken and direct as the man himself.

For what it’s worth, I am a union stage hand and did the WWE show in January where Vince kicked Bret. After the show my job was to tear down the audio. Anyways the audio engineers were talking about how they couldn’t believe it was going to be Vince vs. Bret at Wrestlemania.

Like I said take it for what its worth

WrestlingInc.com

As noted this past Monday, I made mention of an interesting story making the rounds regarding an X Division star. As noted earlier today by WrestlingINC.com, the interesting story pertains to TNA performer Frankie Kazarian (a/k/a Suicide).

Over the weekend, "a person in the know" sent me nude photographs Kazarian had taken of himself in the bathroom. The person claims that Kazarian has been having an ongoing affair with a California based adult star for the past three years which his wife
, fellow TNA performer Tracy Brookshaw (a/k/a Traci Brooks), only recently became aware of. The longtime couple got married just a few weeks ago with many of their fellow peers in the wrestling industry in attendance. Traci is still trying to figure out the details of what went on. I can confirm that she has called the person in question to confront her about the situation.

Also note, a sex tape of Kazarian and the adult star in question apparently exists.

Late last week, Brooks peculiarly posted photos from her wedding on her Facebook account and made her profile picture a wedding shot of the two. She has since removed the wedding images and declared her account private. Furthermore, Kazarian deleted his MySpace and Facebook pages earlier this week, though the Facebook account has since been reactivated.

BTW... quit picking on The Miz... I am actually starting to like him!
*PFFT*...

The only reason you like "The Miz-erable" is because I'm a John Morrison fan.
If I hated Morrison, you'd love him and hate The Miz-erable one too...
