Actually have a few slight nerves ahead of today's game. Number 19 just around the corner with a win today.

One more point... It could have been a bigger win today, there was a case of nerves obviously. I hope they seal it at Blackburn, so they can let the second string play against Blackpool and let the others rest for CL final.

I hope they get the one point on saturday before F.A. Cup, just to dampen Citeh's possible celebrations.

Stoke have been playing really well lately, I wouldn't rule them out. They only play one way, route one, and will run and run in midfield. Their game plan doesn't change no matter who they play.

He got a new contract and they're playing well now. Also Torres is not their problem anymore, looks like they're better off without Gerrard too.jellyheadrobertson wrote:Very Impressed with my Liverpool today. I'll hold my hands up and say Kenny has done a great job, when I really thought he wouldn't. They still won't challenge for the title though!Hellsinkey wrote:He got a new contract and they're playing well now. He'll spend money in the summer and expectations will rise. If the Glazers spend, Roman spends, Arsenal spend and Shitty City spend then it could still be another tough year at Anfield.
I fear for Spurs if all the above spend decent money. I can't see 'Arry competing for the best players. Spurs don't have the coin to do it, and 'Arry always seems to make at least a couple of bad signings. Gomez is a clown in goal, and they need someone who scores regularly up front. Bale is overrated. So is Lennon. I do rate Sandro and Modric in midfield. Both would enhance Uniteds squad in center mid, but Spurs would ask for silly money ala Berbatov and Carrick.
Come the end of Saturday afternoon, Mickey Owen could have a league winners medal.

Kusczak was rubbish, but it doesn't matter. F.A. Cup? Pfft. It's 19.
Re: **OFFICIAL Association Football 2010/2011 Season thread*
First time both Manchester clubs have done the double between them, unlike both Liverpool clubs who have done it a few times, I think. Expected more from Stoke, especially in the last 10 mins.

My boss is a Hammers fan. I'll have a few words with him tomorrow at work and I'll wear my vintage ManU shirt. Added bonus is that Finland won ice hockey world championship about an hour ago. It's a big party here.MickeyG wrote:Avram Grant sacked! Couldn't have happened to a nicer club.

I need to find a different desktop pic for my laptop. It has pics of different United players from different eras with Busby and Ferguson and the words: 18 Titles. It's out of date now, motherfucker!

What a great Sunday , Villa beat the Arse, Blues lose at home (enjoy playing Coventry next season - they could be the first Championship team to play in the Europa League lol!!)
Last game Villa v Liverpool , couldn;t really give a shit about the score as long as Blues get relegated!
Ashley Young can fuck off in the summer if he doesn;t commit himself to the Villa, some other team can deal with his purile sulking behaviour!
England given an extra place in Europe due to fair play league - Looks like Fulham are going to get it!

Christ, how many European places do English teams get these days? Seems like half the premier league will be playing in Europe next season.Sleazyjack wrote:

Completely delighted but also surprised that United won the league.
Bring on the Champions League!

Nothing to play for on the weekend, maybe Berbatov wanting to win The Golden Boot. Good time to test fringe players, most would want to show off at OT celebrations.

I hope United don;t win on Sunday , no offence but I want Birmingham to get relegated, so a point for Blackpool and Spurs winning would do that !

I have a feeling Birmingham will go down anyway, Spurs want to play in Europe. Wigan might win Stoke, who have nothing to play for. It will be hard for Blackpool, maybe a point will do? Interesting day, two out of five can join Hammers and go down.Sleazyjack wrote:Hellsinkey wrote:Nothing to play for on the weekend, maybe Berbatov wanting to win The Golden Boot. Yeah, I wouldn't be unhappy if Brum went down. Horrible fans, and an anti-football team. Yeah, they stopped Arsenal winning a trophy , but fuck them anyway.Sleazyjack wrote:Hellsinkey wrote:Nothing to play for on the weekend, maybe Berbatov wanting to win The Golden Boot. I'd like Blackpool to stay, but a lot is out of their hands. They've played nice style of football.

So it happened. Poor Blackpool, so close but so far away. Now they're handing out the trophy.Hellsinkey wrote:I have a feeling Birmingham will go down anyway, Spurs want to play in Europe. Owen Hargreaves doesn't get a new contract either. Soon the transfer roulette starts.
