I have personally never been into wrestling, I did live right next door to Hulk Hogan for 5 years in Clearwater Beach Fl, and at the time I was in a band, my wifes best friend at the time married Steve Mongo McMichael, so we all used to hang out , and they would come and see our shows once in awhile, but I never attended one wrestling event ever with those guys. Today for the first time I took my kids to the WWE Fan Axxess thing at the Staples center, My son is a HUGE John Cena fan, he is 10 years old, he got to meet John, and get his picture taken with him, and a autographed pic and all, He was SO SO excited about his day today. We had a lot of fun. I understand at 10 years old he is totally into it, but I seen grown men, 30,40,50 year olds wearing these Championship belts around the place, all decked out with their favorite wrestlers gear on. I thought that was little wierd, but I guess its the same as the guys that paint their faces and shit at football games, and the dudes that go to the Kiss shows wearing Kiss makeup.Overall I did have a blast and it was very entertaining, we are going to Summerslam tommorow, so I will experience my first WWE Wrestling event!

Your wife's best friend who married Mongo her first name wouldn't happen to be Debra would it?
If so she went on to have a short but succesful career in wrestling also as a diva,eyecandy,whatever you want to call it she also divorced Mongo and was married to Stone Cold Steve Austin one of the biggest names in wrestling their no longer married last I heard she was in real estate.
Anyhoo enjoy tonight with your son if your lucky it will be one of those memories he will have of bonding with his dad for years to come.

P.S. on a different note don't bring up bonedog69's name again about coming back here it will save you from a lot of people giving you more shit than you already get just tryin to be helpfull.

Actually my wifes best friend was a stripper from Tampa who is named MISTY, this was right after Debra, Steve & Misty are now married ,living in Chicago, and Steve is the Coach for the Chicago arena football team! But Hell yeah that was fun, and Im really looking forward to Summerslam today, BUT I REFUSE to wear one of those championship belts around the arena!
And P.S Bonedog said one nice thing to me in the past, so i simply said ONE nice thing about him!

Just wear normal clothes and you'll find plenty of people just like yourself.
Also unless your right up close to the ring DO NOT BRING A SIGN TO RAISE EVERYTIME THE CAMERA PANS YOUR AREA.

You could see it for a few minutes when her little skirt thing got pulled up and somehow got caught on her outfit. I just checked the pics, there are none from that point in the match. Sorry to disappoint you... I know how tough it can be to face the day without cameltoe.

lol I actually like Alberto Del Rio. He brings an element of old-school WWF with him, like a modern day Rick Martel or something. And I'd rather see him as champ than Cena, I just wish he didn't have to cash in on Punk, but we've all known this was the plan since MITB and even moreso for the WWE's upcoming tour of Mexico where they've stated numerous times that they want either Del Rio or Mysterio as champ when they go there.

As for Nash, I'm a huge Nash fan (although last month I saw him at JFK Airport and said hello but didn't ask for a picture or autograph cause he looked like he was absolutely fuckin pissed off lol) and was definitely shocked to see him and applaud them on that left turn from nowhere. It should be interesting to see where this goes.

My only concern with Nash coming back, is after reading about all of his knee problems, for the 2.5 seconds he was in the ring last night he looked like he was having trouble moving, so how much can he really do?

I don't know if I just miss enjoying wrestling or what, but that Punk-Nash exchange went way better than I thought it would and I'm excited.

But yeah, I guess it's old age and years of alcohol abuse, but Nash's face is weathered and bloated and the bad dye job is not doing him any favors.

Punk had me laughing my ass off just now.


On a side note, anyone else disappointed that they gave R-Truth music tonight? I preferred when he had no music to come out to. By the way, if you didn't see SummerSlam last night, you should at least look up footage of the r-Truth/Jimmy Hart segment. I thought that was great.
