What a ridiculously good final two minutes. Holy shit!
Congrats to the Niners, they earned it.

Four lead changes in the last three minutes. That almost felt like the end of an NBA game.

Weak from the Saints defence.

Good as advertised.
Re: Let's go Niners!
hey Crabfan-we can't actually expect championships from both the Niners and the Giants in a 2 year span, can we?

That 49ers defense is excellent. They may be the best defense left in the playoffs. And Gore is a beast. I'm just not sure they can take the next step with Smith at QB. He had a good game today, but can he do that consistently?

It'd be interesting if, in this 'Year of the Quarterback', Alex Smith and Joe Flacco are the quarterbacks of their conferences' respective champions and competitors in the Super Bowl.SkyDog112046 wrote:That 49ers defense is excellent. Neither will be in the 2012 Super Bowl.

What has he said?
Did his teammates defend the poor guy?

Haven't heard anything. Wish they had Ted Ginn Jr. back there.
Oh well. When does Spring training start? Let's go (SF) Giants!

Re: Let's go Niners!
The Mayor of NYC won the bet versus the Mayor of SF
With a Giants victory of the 49ers yesterday, Mayor Lee will outfit a historic San Francisco Cable Car in blue and red with New York Giants flags for a day along the world class Powell Street route. Lee will also send Boudin sourdough bread to New York City.
