Jim Ross suggested Friday on Twitter that he will be celebrated by WWE when Raw emanates from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Monday, October 1 at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

"Monday October 1 @WWE Raw in #okc is going to be special for yours truly," Ross wrote. "More details to come but I'd be great to have a full house."

A couple of observations from this page and the last week's show::

It should be very alarming to WWE backstage head honchos that a fan dressed up as Macho Man got bigger pops than nearly every member of the Raw roster.

CM Punk with Heyman sounds cool, but it's really stupid. I'm sure the idea internally is that Heyman will help reinforce a heel turn for Punk, since Heyman is a heat magnet, but Punk could do that by himself. Simply, CM Punk doesn't benefit, because he doesn't NEED a mouthpiece. Heyman's talent is wasted for the same reason. He should be working with Brock, and other guys that can't work the stick themselves. Guys like......

Sheamus. Dude needs to change it up, and fast. He fell apart on the mic against CM Punk at Raw. Obviously nervous, the dude was a wreck. Put him with Heyman! He sucks as a babyface, he's fuckinng stale, and he's had a steady and marked descent of fan support ever since Wrestlemania when the crowd double-turned him and Bryan.

HHH getting the hair cut was a good move. The old man pony tail wasn't doing him any favors. It's better to age gracefully, and I think it helps sell the idea that he could be retiring (in kayfabe) and it cements the fact that he's moving into a more professional, corporate aspect of the business (kayfabe and irl). HHH also sucks as a face, and he wanted to work heel against Brock, but Daddy Vince shot him down. He could easily fall into that "I run the company so I'm a bad guy" and "I run the company so I'm a good guy." vacuum that Vince left behind.

I think HHH has always been a heel. He's an ass in real life. He comes off as a cocky, scheming, petty asshole who is a Machivelian level politician behind the scenes, and will do anything to protect his spot at the top. He takes any opportunity to make himself look good at the expense of everyone else, and is a bigger mark for himself than Hogan and Bret Hart combined.

Shawn was mentioned, and while I agree that he should go ahead and get a haircut, keeping it long has a function. He feels like he needs it because though he is obviously balding, the long hair is a protective security blanket that keeps it from looking so bald. Bret Michaels syndrome.

Putting Punk with Heyman is an awesome move, and I find myself actually looking forward to Raw this week. Last week was the best three hour Raw since July.

I'll agree about Sheamus - I actually liked him better as a heel. When he turned face, he seemed to have lost something. The 18 second win over Bryan didn't help either.

I'm really interested in seeing Ziggler and Barrett develop into main eventers over the next few months. I could easily see Ziggler cashing in and winning at Night of Champions and Barrett winning the Royal Rumble. I'd also like to see Rhodes become more of a part of the main event scene as well.

I actually like HHH's role now. Come out a couple times a year, get a pop, cut a promo and leave.

I kinda like Shamus as a face, and I really like that they put the Texas Cloverleaf into his skill set. I would like to see them write him in a bit more temper, more of a sarcastic nasty streak.

Heyman W/ Punk could work in small doses. Perhaps Punk refering to Heyman's advice from time to time, and Hayman dropping Punk's name once in a while. Punk definately does NOT need a mouthpiece.

The return of Ric Flair could have a HUGE effect on the E. IF he can behave himself, and IF creative would give him the right role he could single handedly bring back managers to the E.

Wade Barret has all the tools there to be an EPIC heel. He just seems to be lacking something in the ring. He just seems too plodding to me. Exellent on the mic, but still just a little short in the ring.

Goldberg had a schtick that worked, and worked well. Even if his ring skills were bland at best, his mic skills and persona pulled the weight. Skip Ryback sounds like the conversation at creative went something like....

You seem to forget, while Shawn was pulling that EXACT gimmick off (although it was hearts and not pink t-shirts) he had Scary Shari fronting for HIM. The difference is, Shari new when to shut up and let him work, they can't seem to get away from Vicki's screeching=heel heat.

Good ears! Yep, he says something about the match, then you can hear the snoring. You can also tell Cole knows something is seriously wrong, as does the crowd. You also can tell they kept chang ing the camera angle more that normal.

AEDs/defribulators can save lives when used within the first ten minutes of a heart attack. I hope Jerry is one of those folks.

I live in Montreal and this is big news here. A lot of debate over whether the show should have continued or not. Apparently WWE officials didn't want them working on Lawler at ringside, but I suupose that's heresay, though not surprising.

Lawler has apparently had surgery for a blocked artery and is "stable" - haven't heard more than that.
