A 22-year old San Francisco man is facing felony charges for allegedly using a barricade to smash in the front of a $1 million Muni bus on Market Street in the hours after the Giants won the World Series.

San Francisco police officers arrested Gregory Tyler Graniss Tuesday evening on two felony charges of vandalism and injuring or destroying a passenger transit vehicle.

Pictures showing the destruction of the bus which was located at Market and Third Streets swept across the Internet and social media platforms. Investigators say they received a large number of tips in connection with the case.

“This was a senseless act of destruction and there is no tolerance for such criminal behavior in San Francisco,” Police Chief Greg Suhr said in a written statement. “With assistance from the public, investigators moved swiftly to identify this suspect and make an arrest. Investigators are also working tirelessly to identify those responsible for setting the bus on fire and to bring them to justice.”

Investigators say they have physical evidence tying Graniss to the alleged crimes but aren't saying what that may be. They're also still asking for more information from anyone in the public who knows about the incident.

Lame, but I think most everyone's IQ drops about 20 points between age 18-23 as the brain struggles to survive the heavy influx of various substances.

This kid just screwed himself big time.

Congrats to the Giants. Thank you for trading for my son's favorite player, Hunter Pence, and getting him a ring. My boy was a very happy camper. After several seasons, and who knows how many to go, of basement hell with the hometown team, it was good to see a local product win it all, even if it involved a bit of coattail riding.

It was quite amusing seeing Bruce Bochy's Rolls Royce run out of gas during the parade
