Another classic.
Troll13 is really becoming desperate.
New question, that I know you won't answer, how is it not "classy" for a coach to put a football player on the field during a game?
Idiot.

Nice to see the niners make a statement against the bears after struggling against st. louis last week! It's obvious that Cutler being out was a bigger blow to the bears than Smith being out was to the niners, but I don't think many were expecting the bears defense to be overpowered like they were. San Fran should be near the top of the power rankings now...
It's like granny always said: "Some turds float to the top; some turds sink to the bottom. In the end, they all get flushed."

Just challenge P(ussy)13 to a sig bet, that'll shut him the fuck up, and quick.
LOL @ Andrew "four turnovers per game" Leaf getting the MVP this season. He won't even be nipping at RG3's heels for Rookie of the Year.

MVP will be going to one of the old stand by's. Manning, Brady or Rodgers would be my guess. If the Vikings can manage to hang around, Peterson should be in the mix. He's having a phenomenal year. Luck won't even be in the conversation. The kid is good, and has a bright future, but he ain't that good yet. P-13 was frothing at the mouth after Luck's rookie single game record a few weeks back and really ramped up his MVP talk. Schaub just threw for the second most yards in NFL history and you aren't hearing a peep from me. Schaub is no MVP. He's just a pretty good QB that had a really great day. Kinda like Luck so far. I think Luck will win rookie of the year though unless the Colts tank down the stretch and the Skins get hot.

Why has Harbaugh started a QB controversy in SF? I think that could be the biggest mistake he's made as a head coach.
Harbaugh should have said that Kap is the QB right now because A. Smith is suffering from a concussion.
Instead Harbaugh said the team will "go with the hot hand". WTF!!!
Kap has 1 very good game, in his 1st career start and suddenly he's the man for the starting QB job over Alex? Does not make sense.

Harbaugh is a hothead and often doesn't think before he opens his mouth. If ever there was a coach that needs to stay away from the media, he's it.

That might be the reason.
Just seems to me like he probably wishes he did not open up a can of worms.
You know the bay area media is going to take those quotes and run with them.
Bad enough that A. Smith has fought for his job after struggling for about 6-7 years. He gets concussed and after 1 very good game by the back-up(and 1st start), suddenly there is a QB controversy.
Didn't SF learn about these situations when
Montana & Young were on the team?

As long as the 2 QBs know what the situation is, who cares what the guy says to the media? But really, if you feel like you have a better option than Alex Smith, wouldn't you use that option? People thought Belichick was nuts when he kept playing Brady after Drew Bledsoe was healed.

Sure. The head coach can do what he pleases.
IMO, Harbaugh bit off a bit more than he could chew.
Kap just had his 1st career start. Suddenly "he's the hot hand"?
I don't think A. Smith has a problem with Kap starting while he's suffering from concussion like symptoms, but I have to think that A. Smith now might feel like he's lost his QB job.
So it looks like GRonkowski is going to be out 4-6 weeks. I wonder how many tight ends Belichick will try to pick up in the meantime. Cuz you know they 4 they have are not enough.

- Sig must be strictly sports related, NO gay porn or nudity of any kind.
- No personal images or photos of you or myself can be used.
Now do we have a deal?
We do have deal. These were the exact terms that I had in mind.
With the clarification that regular season would be the first Sunday of the 2013 regular season.
Bring it on E(xcuses)13!
Good luck... Err I mean Leaf...and may the best rookie win!
And dude, no fucking welching. You can't come in here in two weeks and say "I admit, I back out of the bet," like you did before. It's a fucking bet. Ain't the end of the world that you are going to have to tote around an RG3/Tom Brady sig for the next 6 months.

Done deal. There will be no backing out. I am very confident that this is the easiest bet I'll ever win. I think the voters will look past RG3&out's completion percentage and realize that Luck has been asked to do a lot more for his team, and he has delivered. Anything can happen in the last six games, but I like my chances. If the Colts make the playoffs, which there is a good chance of, I believe Luck is guaranteed to win the Rookie of the Year.

I also like my chances, obviously. And yes, the voters will likely have to look past the fact that the Colts have won more games and Luck has thrown for more yards, and look to the things that matter - completion percentage, QBR, and of course INTs. Luck has an astounding (and very rookie-like)TWELVE right now, and RG3 has only three.
I think we can both honestly admit that it's probably a tie at this point, I don't even see who else could be in the running. It'll be an interesting 6 weeks to close out the season. The Colts are no lock. Plenty of 6-4 teams have gone on to miss the playoffs.
RG3's completion percentage is far less impressive when you realize he's thrown the 2nd fewest attempts of any QB who has started every game. Meanwhile, Luck is 3rd in attempts and 7th in passing yards. He's been asked to shoulder the load and carry the team on his back, and he's doing it. Right now I give him the edge in a close vote, but like I said, anything can happen in the last six games. The Colts are no lock for the playoffs, but it's a very good possibility. And if that happens, Luck will almost certainly win the ROY.

Alex Smith is a hack. Kaepernick is obviously the future. That guy can play. I don't know if you want a guy with so little experience leading you into the playoffs though. They aren't going up against Jason Campbell every week.
Campbell sucks - I saw the same guy I knew and loved in dc - no pocket presence, poor reads.
That being said I'm sure cutler was glad he wasn't in there last night. That Chicago line should be ashamed of itself.
I struggle to find a worse game I've seen them play. And I've seen a lot of bad Bears football. I nearly punched my brother for saying Cutler would have made a difference Monday. If anything Cutler would have been killed before halftime. I'm half tempted to suggest they leave him out one more game against the Vikings just so Allen doesn't rip his head off, which is entirely possible given that shit line and the worst field in the NFL.

That was a bad loss. From first round bye to wild card in one game. Ouch. There's a lot of season left though.

Campbell is just another 1st round draft pick at the QB position that
is a bust.
How quickly do you think the team that drafted him in the 1st round
wishes they had made a different choice?
Redskins messed up with that pick.
Didn't they learn anything when they drafted Heath Shuler

That's all in the past motherfucker, as you'll see tomorrow.
Tomorrow is a homecoming game for RG3, he's got a ton of friends and family there. Just like he did opening day in Louisiana.

And the Skins actually traded UP to get Campbell
I know the game is tomorrow.
Don't think I was picking on the past draft pick, but I've said this here before, I don't really like drafting a college QB in the very 1st round of
the draft.
The risk is so high and that pick could be better served at other positions.
For every #1 QB pick that wins games, earns pro-bowl status and maybe wins a SB, there are dozens and dozens of failures, destined to carry a clipboard or lose more games than they win.
