Doesn't matter what your personal opinion is of Bryan he is the babyface that the WWE fans seem to be behind and while he didn't need to win the Rumble tonight it was a poor choice to have him out so early. Also with all the superstars getting big pops with the audience, Reigns seems like a horrible choice....he simply isn't ready..compared to Seth and Dean he just isn't there.

No, not trolling at all. I just don't see what is so great about him. But, he sells for them, so, whatever.

They had the crowd in their hands from the title match up until Daniel Bryan getting eliminated. during the Rumble. I seriously hope they have SOMETHING planned to make Reigns winning work out in the end... a heel turn maybe, Rollins cashing in, Brock Lesnar murdering him on live television... anything really.

Worst Rumble I remember. The only worthwhile WWE event left and they manage to fuck it up with a dozen nostalgia and novelty participants that don't matter for shit, plus a dozen boring-ass washed-ups nobody in their right mind can stomach anymore and this incredibly anticlimactic ending with the blandest winner you could imagine.

WWE underestimates their fan base, they think they can just shove talent down the fans throats. I don't think the backlash is against Reigns in general, it's the fact that he clearly isn't ready yet, he will be a huge star but he still needs to get his mic skills better and get his move set down. They are trying to turn him into Cena 2.0 with the superman crap. They should of let him naturally progressed and get better then push him, for now they had Dolph, Cesaro and Dean Ambrose who they tried to bury and just can't. The fans know what's best and WWE ignores them, Bryan I understand not winning, let someone else have their year but at least give him time in. Some changes are going to have to be made story wise because current WWE product isn't selling. Last night #CancelWWENetwork was #1 trending for hours.....let's see Micheal Cole say that on Raw...

Looks like raw was canceled. They are doing a "best of" or something like that... All I know is this, I'm not a Daniel Bryan fan at all but that's the last 9.99 they will get from me. Show was pure shit minus the title match which was still just brock (who I like) doing the same move then taking a rest all match till the end.. HHH or whoever is in charge is killing a once entertaining brand... Sad...

Edited to add, if they don't bring back some sort of attitude'ish era they are going to be hurting. This I think was a last straw for fans and this is the "build up to wrestlemania"?? I promise they are loving the weather causing raw to be off, they are trying to fix this shit...

Anyone that has direct tv, look up the description to Raw tonight. It says "Jerry Lawler, who won the royal rumble will be headlining wrestlemania" :D :D :D

They showed the title match from last night on Raw. That was an excellent match.
They're going to show the Rumble itself later, with the boos muted WAY down and the announcers brought way up in the mix. Should be funny.

The internet, and fans getting WAY too hands on with trying to influence the product has absolutely killed professional wrestling.
Yeah.

Vince & Co (subtly) need to tell those marks to go fuck themselves.
They're marks, the majority will still tune in.
Their input should be taken into account but not to the point of rewriting major angles & events like last years WM.
That shit was fucking ridiculous.

I am still wondering why Curtis Axel hasn't spoke up.. He was never eliminated from the Rumble. Maybe on Thursday they will have something.

I watched the Rumble.. Was fine with it. Knew Reigns was going to win. Not sure if he is fully ready, but, it's only Brock, who is about as useless as tits on a bull. Guy has one fucking move. One. Makes Cena look like a good wrestler. Just don't like Brock. Really wish Rollins could've pulled it off...

Maybe at WM, Rollins will cash in on either Brock or Reigns, whomever wins the title then.

Daniel is still goat boy. and still annoying. Paul Heyman is awesome. There's a lot of good young wrestlers for the WWE right now. Some have poor gimmicks, but, that's always been the case. I think they have more talent now then they have had in some time.

Just wondering if that angle will come up at the next Raw or Smackdown. He was never eliminated because he never entered. LOL.

Vince needs to reach out to the over opinionated marks & make them feel more involved by inducting them into a certain club of his....

would it be feasible these days for all of the indys to be in bed with each other and have one world champion that travels around to all of the territories? it should drive gates and make the local titles more relevant.

It would be a good idea in my opinion, but I think those days are over. I think it would lead to the less successful indies to try for profit sharing and shit like that, and that just won't fly. Things are so competitive now, I really can't see the promoters banding together like that.

Bray Wyatt was representing for all the people who don't buy into this bandwagon mindless sheep garbage known as the yes/mess movement. Thank you for eliminating that little bug and making the rest of the rumble event interesting.

I haven't watched in a while, did they change the rules for the Rumble match? It looks to me like he never even entered, so how can he be eliminated?

This was later in the match.. Wyatt and Daniel already went through the middle rope.. Which, is still legally in and not eliminated...

Only wrestler not eliminated because he never entered was Curtis Axle.. Not sure why that angle hasn't come up. It should.

Loving those comments about the goat, bryan.. Fucking awesome.. At least I know not all WWE fans are sheep...

I'm on the same wagon as far as Bryan being a decent wrestler, but seriously overrated as an "entertainer". The WWE is still CLEARLY behind NOT pushing him as a major face of the company. All of his matches are basically the same from beginning to end. Not that Cena is the answer by a long shot, but who in their right mind is going to buy into a 5'7, 185 lb guy as a legit threat against Lesnar or any of the other massive dudes on the roster. That's right up there with Rey Mysterio being a threat to Kane or The Big Show. It's a fucking joke.

Well it's official...off to Wrestlemania 31 I go.

Just booked my trip to San Jose. Going to check out the Ring of Honour show on the Friday before the show and then Raw the night after. I think I'm pretty into the idea of making this a yearly thing.

I don't think last year's experience can ever be topped for me. New Orleans was just an amazingly fun town. Bourbon Street is insanity.

Anyway, any of you other losers joining me?
