Not surprised. I'm sure they're paying good money for a show no one can even watch. I mean, seriously, who even gets this channel? It's a damn shame since WCW proved that competition is good for the wrestling business. Now WWE has no competition and no reason to make even the least bit of effort.

He's well established himself for years in ROH & TNA.
You don't work multiple platforms with the likes of Kurt Angle for being a slouch.
Plus fans know who he is unlike that guy who worked with Cena last Monday.

He & Rusev would work well together.

I don't see it as a slap in the face at all. At this point, NXT is the place to be if you want to get your foot in the door in a big way, and Joe even said he wasn't above going down there for a little while. Just imagine if NXT was around when they signed Punk. He would've been absolutely MASSIVE by the time he made it to the main roster.

Punk debuted in WWE's ECW which was kind of like NXT at the time.
He got great crowd response, at least half the fans knew who he was.

Really sad picture of Bobby Heenan with Roddy Piper. Heenan has been fighting cancer for years and all the reconstructive surgery has obviously changed his appearance drastically. I think it says a lot about him that he still makes public appearances and even though he can barely speak he even tries to make jokes about his appearance.
