And I almost declined the trade. Figured Woodhead was going to be a beast with the Mathews injury but I was in need of another receiver.veritas wrote:at this point I should be disqualified from participating any further in this league for ineptitude and bad decisions. Witness this week's glory:
2. Traded Danny Woodhead for Steve Smith. Smith is a monster yet again. Woodhead fractures his leg on Sunday.

Let's undo the trade -- you can't feel good about trading me such damaged goods (or soon-to-be-damaged-goods).bobbystoney wrote:And I almost declined the trade. Well I have already made it into the playoffs. If tradition holds I'll win the regular season and then promptly lose the first round of playoffs.

I've had to rely on way too many Raiders and Titans to even have a prayer to be in this position, but that's the funny thing about fantasy. It's all random. Bring it amigo!

Wow. The 1, 2 and 3 seeds all go down in flames in the first week of the playoffs!

Out after the first round again. Just like the mighty Stonebreed I have failed again.
Another great year during the regular season and another quick failure in the playoffs.
Congrats to the winners moving on. I am doing my best for 5th.

I'd say that's the infuriating thing about fantasy.NickasInSaltLick wrote:that's the funny thing about fantasy. It's all random.
Had the highest scoring average in my office/money league, and finished 6th.

Did Bobby Stoney team 23 make it to the playoffs? Or Helix?

I'm shocked I made it this far with all the injuries I've had to deal with, I planned on getting smoked by Bobby Stoney in the first round and just being happy to make the playoffs. Maybe Balls Deep is a team of destiny. Lol....Good luck, Helix...

And the wheels come completely off in the championship game. Ouch. Well it was a nice run while it lasted.
Congratulations Helix....

Of course I did. I was in 3rd place going into the playoffs with a 9-4 record. Where was you this year?UtahRatt wrote:Did Bobby Stoney team 23 make it to the playoffs? Or Helix?
Re: A dozen years in and Sludge Fantasy Football is back!
I knew my weekends were going to be busy this year. Apart from the luck factor it takes a bit of work compete with a good group and with you, pat, helix and Nick that's a battle right there.bobbystoney wrote:Of course I did. Last season took too much time getting back into the game just to have you neuter me by .24 in the playoffs, that crushing defeat ruined me for life. 3rd place is solid with these guys.
My question this season was on RB's, I felt like it was going to be hard to predict and draft. I'm guessing the waver action made and broke a few teams with RB's.
Hat's off to Helix....Again........

Back on top. Right about where I will be at the end of the season. I will promptly lose in the first round no matter what I try.
I need some Stonebreed luck to keep it going. Pray for us Carlos.
