I know it's all hearsay and rumors, but one story I read about the Jericho/Lesnar conflict says that Lesnar told Jericho to punch him or kiss him lol I'm sorry, Lesnar's just one of those assholes you have to love for some reason.
I like Jericho, and I know there are stories of him getting into real fights backstage and winning, but I'm pretty sure Lesnar would destroy him.

Just watched it and on YouTube. Since when are they allowed by McMahon to use the word "wrestling"?
he's letting them say they had careers outside of being in wwe too.

Another figure from my childhood i remember him managing The magnificent Muraco, Demolition, the powers of pain, sika, Yokozuna...... its sad but in a way almost refreshing to see a wrestler just dying from old age instead of the usual bullshit RIP Fuji san

They say all good boys go to heaven
But bad boys bring heaven to you
The Kamala one was pretty fucking cool, when it happened in the 70's early 80's Andre was at least 100 pounds less than during the much more publicized Hogan WM 3 match.
I saw it live when the Ultimate warrior did it and it was quite a sight, the good old days of the Montreal Forum

didn't make much sense but i love a good swerve.
the title itself is a joke.
How is it a joke seems like best idea and needed baldly. Got rid of old looking wcw belt, now only new superstars will have history with the belt. If someone like KO or Balor can win belt get major pushes it's what fans and wwe needs
Good ending for sure, HHH turning on Seth wasn't a surprise it was time now KO can feud wih anyone for months
So awesome all wwe is can't miss now, great time to be a fan
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"
I haven't watched any of this, but how is eliminating history a good thing. A title belt is only worth what fans believe it's worth. If there's no history behind it, it's just a belt.
Wwe created Divas Belt for new generation it got meaning over time now new wwe woman's belt it has meaning
Belt Ambrose has is new generation belt
Hardcore Belt was created now fans beg every year to have it back
Wwe has always wanted to be hip , cool with belts and titles
New Smackdown Tag Belts and Women's belt will have meaning in time
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"
I feel like the World Title should have been the one title that crosses promotions. If you're the best in the company, and the World Heavyweight Champ or Universal Champ, whatever, you should be defending it on Raw and Smackdown. But I'm not a huge fan of the brand split in the first place.

I'm guessing the Universal one, since it's associated with RAW and seems to thus far be ranking higher on the PPV card than the Smackdown Title.
I would think the WWE title (that Ambrose has now) would be closer to what Hogan / Austin / Backlund held.
It's the combined title or the WWE Championship from Pre-Cena era and NWA/WCW World Title Belt. (that Flair and Sting held)
Just My Opinion, but.. This "Universal" belt is just a place holder until the split idea fails again.

Good point. It just seems they're subjecting it to "devalue" so to speak. Even the title "Universal" makes it sound more important.
I don't know. But like you said, it's inevitable that eventually all of the titles will be combined again and both shows and rosters will become one - which is how i prefer it anyway.
sliquor wrote:Wonder if KO knew he'd be winning the title?
He looked legit surprised when Triple H pedigreed Rollins & not sure what to do.
He totally knew. Everything reaction he had was consistent with his character's mannerisms, and there's no way they'd risk fucking up on of their biggest swerves in recent history by having one of the key protagonists in the dark. KO's just a convincing actor.
I'm sure not many people knew what was coming though.

If anyone is interested in the Punk UFC fight this Saturday night, the Official UFC YouTube Channel is streaming the Documentary they aired for free in 4 parts in addition to a bunch of short promo vids, interviews and collages they've been putting up each day as we get closer.
I've really enjoyed the videos. They took time to document and interview Micky Gall and his people as well for some of the videos.
I don't know much about UFC or anything like this, but I can see the fight going either way based on the footage I've seen. Should be interesting.
WCW did one show ever in Montreal. It was headlined by Hogan vs Rougeau and The Giant (Paul Whyte/Big Show) vs Pierre Carl Ouellette. Rougeau's sister promoted the event at the Montreal Forum, after the entire Rougeau clan had a falling out with Vince McMahon. For years the Rougeau's dad and siblings promoted the WWF here.
I don't know how they convinced established WCW stars to put over the locals, but they did. I'm sure $, perks, and promises changed hands. The show drew OK, and made a few headlines here, but WCW never returned.
