Phil who? Seriously, this guy has 2 GW goals in the playoffs for $5 mill less than Kessell, who would have been curled up in the fetal position after game 2 of the Buffalo series.

Saturday was awesome. Best crowd I've seen at the Vault, which surprised me because of the time. The bars were crowded at 10. After the game Bergeron was walking from the arena with a crowd of about 100 or so fans following him. It looked like a rock star scene. Hilarious. Good times.

Luongo was great, but the Hawks didn't show up at all last night.
Niemi made some pretty athletic saves, but gave up way too many rebounds.
Still, he wasn't the problem. Too many giveaways, sloppy defense, cutesy passes when shots were there for the taking, and no physical play until the game was out of reach.
If they play like that again on Monday, the series will be all but over.

Don't give up on the Hawks yet, they'll come back and win this series!!!

How often does Holmstrom interfer with goaltenders yet never gets called ?How often does Draper clutch,grab and hook per game,yet never gets called because of his pedigree? Things have a way of balancing out. If Jimmy Howard played a little better net, the Wings would lead this series 2-1, despite the appearance of calls going against them.

Oh on the whole the Wings get some decent calls it had to be said.

But just for this playoff series its been absurd and actually kind of spoilt it, unless you're a Sharks fan I guess. Its just been some really blatant bad calls as well. Not just the odd one here and there.
