Yup. I like CM Punk but he along with most wrestlers wishes he had the loyal fabase of Jeff Hardy/Matt Hardy. Jeff is right about a lot though. He DID help to make Punk. I knew Punk in 2003 from going to ROH shows but Punk's major push to the top came when he beat Jeff Hardy on Jeff's way out of WWE. Jeff's main beef with Punk (and this was probably Vince's call not Punk's) was when Punk shot live on Jeff's arrest during a WWE PPV. Until this point, Jeff may have come back but I think that was the straw that broke the camels back.

I'm glad Jeff's gone from WWE. Guy's got a lot more serious issues to deal with. Not to mention, his fans, while loyal, are fucking atrocious. He did help push CM Punk to main event status, and guess what? Punk took the ball and ran with it.

Kevin Nash's existence is a work. Get over yourself. It's not all about being big and doing the same six or seven moves.

I gotta agree. If anything, EDGE "made" CM Punk when Punk cashed in the first MITB. I am a wrestling fan going back over 30 years now, and I personally have never marked out as hard as I did when that Killswitch Engage song hit and he walked out with the briefcase. That's why I was cracking up the other night when Miz cashed in and Punk was doing commentary, how appropriate...

I agree with this statement also both Hardy's have some issues Jeff's are more drug related and Matt is the biggest mark for himself. A big part of getting over is your promo's and while Jeff is decent at best doing that Matt is just down right terrible. Also alot of people myself included get on Cena's case for being for the teenage girls and little kids I think the Hardy's are no diffrent in that case and Cena has overcome that to an extent,lastly I think Punk can talk circles around both Hardy's and wrestles a more beliveable style and sells alot better Jeff sometimes is nothing but a spotmonkey with terrible selling skills

Dave Meltzer has confirmed that current plans have John Cena appearing on television and house shows under a mask as his "cousin" Juan Cena. The idea is that Cena will continue to get under Barrett's skin until Cena is reinstated.

The reason why WWE isn't keeping Cena off television to sell the stipulation is because they are afraid of TV ratings and merchandise sales dropping without him around.

There is said to be concern behind the scenes regarding PPV vs. TV and how WWE could be hurting PPV buyrates even more by doing the big storylines on RAW instead of Survivor Series.

I never got the appeal of Jeff Hardy - I get that he's a high flyer and a risk taker, but he never did much for me. I think Matt was grossly underused once the Hardys were split up; the V1 gimmick was pretty awful and I hadn't seen anything noteworthy ever since from him. He did get a run with the ECW title and it looks like he pretty much dropped the ball with that, so you can't help those that can't at least attempt to help themselves. Matt probably figured once Jeff was gone they'd just hand him the ball.

CM Punk, however, is a true talent and I really like him. I had kind of brushed off the "recent" era of the WWE until I caught a match of his a year ago or so. I'd say as far as recent talent (within the past five years), I really like what I've seen of Punk, The Miz, John Morrison, Sheamus, and most recently Daniel Bryan.

I think they'll try and get Morrison over as a "newer" HBK - I just see a lot of Shawn in John's gimmick and style.

As far as Jeff goes, I think he was never pushed to look like everyone else - he always sort of had this freaky gimmick. He reminds me of Raven on LSD.
