Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Tessa Blanchard won the Impact World Championship last night. Kind of a big deal. Too bad she’s embroiled in controversy right now.

What’s next Bare Knuckels Fight.. Shamrock vs Blanchard?
Nobody will care about Impact Trash Champion
World will be a buzz when Rhea eliminates Brock at the Rumble

Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"
Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
She’s been accused of making racist remarks and bullying other female wrestlers. I’m actually surprised they put the belt on her after all of this hit.

Why would Impact do something to grab some attention?
When Rhea eventually becomes Universal Champ..those few internet wrestling marks” Blanchard did it first! WWE sucks...we want Punk vs Blanchard headline Mania 37”

I don’t get why people seem to be hoping for AEW to fail. The worst thing that can happen in the wrestling business is for WWE to not have any competition. The WWE has pretty much sucked for the last decade or so. It was so much better with WCW and ECW fighting for ratings and even TNA made Vince step his game up for a few years. Wishing for AEW to fail is basically wishing for WWE to suck. Is AEW perfect? Fuck no. But we should want it to succeed. WWE has been stale and predictable for too long.

I realize it's like week or two old by now but Pillman Jr. Beating Timothy Thatcher in MLW WTF!!
Thatcher is a machine in that ring.
The finals for that tournament should have been Thatcher & Bulldog Jr.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I only was able to watch the Mens Royal Rumble match from tonight and thought it was great. How do you really make sure McEntire is over? Have him eliminate Brock, Corbin & Reigns. Looking forward to seeing him and Brock at Mania.
Also, Edge's return was one of those legendary Rumble moments but man does it make me nervous that all of these people with career ending injuries are returning or talking about returning. Just live your lives not being crippled for Christ's sake!

Very solid Rumble, loved Brock in beast mode I would have had him eliminate 28 only to be eliminated by McIntyre

I was wondering if they were going to go that route as well.BootyDaddy69 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 11:32 pm Very solid Rumble, loved Brock in beast mode I would have had him eliminate 28 only to be eliminated by McIntyre
I think it was great how they booked it. It really was like the Commentary was saying, like having 2 separate Rumble matches. You got the spectacle of Brock destroying everyone and pissing off the live audience, then you got a great traditional Rumble for the 2nd half.

Agreed. I don't know how many matches he has left in him, but I cringe at the thought of him taking bumps again.TheInfiniteStaircase wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 10:15 pm Also, Edge's return was one of those legendary Rumble moments but man does it make me nervous that all of these people with career ending injuries are returning or talking about returning. And of course they wasted no time making his first opponent try to break his neck lolDrunken Little Elf wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2020 6:07 pmAgreed. I guess he's safer in their with Orton than some others on the roster.

I guess that's because they've known each other best since their Rated RKO days and Edge trusts Randy with this.TheInfiniteStaircase wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 1:38 pmAnd of course they wasted no time making his first opponent try to break his neck lolDrunken Little Elf wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2020 6:07 pmAgreed. Seriously speaking, there has been some REALLY shitty wrestling this past year. AEW is a glaring example. Errors galore.
