Rampage was a great show actually!

It would be fun if AEW become the no.1 wrestling promotion....how would Vince react?

But there were a couple of problems with CM Punks return......first of all the sound was shite on tv. The people who were in charge of the audio should all be fired...they screwed up Punk's entrance.......and the second thing is....isn't Punk somewhat ruined after his UFC fights? Everyone saw that he isn't a tough guy, he is not an athlete....shit he can't even throw a decent punch?

Shawn Michaels wasn’t a “tough guy”. Didn’t seem to hurt his career/legacy. Wrestling is a different animal. Rey Mysterio has pinned The Big Show and nobody questioned it.

You know what I mean!? Neither Michaels nor Mysterio have been exposed as weak pussies who can't fight. You could be correct.......maybe it doesn't matter in wrestling that CM Punk has embarrassed himself in MMA. If you look at Japan where a bunch of njpw wrestlers were knocked silly in Pride.....in Japan it did matter.

But I'm actually hoping that AEW gets a big boost.... a +1 million viewers and that they become the no.1 promotion. That would lit a fire under Vince Mcmahons ass.

If Tony gave Punk the whole hour to have a live mic on Rampage, the crowd have loved the hell out that even more. AEW put a bunch of mainstream eyes on the product last night, their next 2 weeks will be absolutely pivotal to the future of the company.

The beating was so bad he couldn’t work and had to give up the Intercontinental Championship. I would say that exposed him as being weak. Again, it didn’t hurt his legacy in the long term.

Big rumor now is that Daniel Bryan is showing up at All Out this Sunday. For AEW to score Punk AND Bryan is mind-blowing to me. The fact that Bray Wyatt and Adam Cole are both now up for grabs as well is insane as well.
