haven't been to a live event in well over 10 years so I went to smackdown last night. I went JUST to see nakamura and aj.
so of course neither one was there. nor was randy or dolph. but they did bring in seth rollins which was a nice surprise.
a few things I took away from it:
- the girls are WAY better looking live than on tv. I was sitting second row ringside.
- the fans are idiots that live in their mom's basement. the comments from some of them during the matches were just stuff they've heard on tv before but didn't know when to use them.
- jinder is huge. the two brothers that come out with him are so small they make him look even bigger.
- charles robbinson and the ring announcer guy REALLY play to the fans in the ring and out. they looked like they had the most fun out of anyone.
- they all worked hard. nobody took the night off. becky lynch had her typical botches.

yep! I hope that's the plan!

Styles beat Owens for the US Heavyweight Championship at a MSG house show on Friday. Titles changes never happen at house shows anymore, so there has to be a story behind it, or some kind of angle coming.

On top of that they were in NYC too a place where they have some great history.

when they were in Vancouver a few weeks ago he got a huge pop. just before the match started he goes to the ring announcer and whispered something to him......announced him as "always the face of canada" .....sammy zaynn laughed and said,"what was that? you're supposed to work heal"

Slater vs. Hawkins during the post Ambulance match segment was a complete waste. Seriously, what was the point of that? Also, I was kind of hoping Joe would win so we don't have to see Lesnar defend the title only at every other PPV...

what they really needed was more camera angles of the ambulence crashing instead of the "surprise match" where they didn't show the pinfall because seeing firemen struggle to open a door with a 1" latch lock was WAY more compelling tv.

They should just let Brock do a repeat of SummerSlam 2014 if you can tell going in that there's no way his opponent goes home with the win.

That made me laugh them trying to get the door open. I think it was noble or angle that got frustrated when it was taking so long and added in a breaking character "hurry up man". Great segment though. I think struggling to get the door open actually made it more intense. Roman has gotta be heel now. I'm finishing watching raw now the fallout is next
