Yep. Bye-bye, Dusty. Nats won't miss you, I guess.
After the 2002 World Series I'm surprised that dude ever worked again. That was Grady Little bad, argueably worse.

I'm giving the edge to the Stros.......Question marks with Clayton's game and his back issues, Seager's up in the air with back issues, Bellinger's inexperience is more miss than hit and it would have been sweet with AGON at DH but after looking at the last two line ups vs the CUBS I wasn't impressed. Should be a good series.

I'm just happy they sent the CUBS home and NY isn't in it.

I wished the Tribe made it.

Welcome back. Houston has a lot of momentum ( not unlike Boston after the bombing ), but I don't trust their middle relief. Especially against LAD's lineup.

A Kershaw/Verlander matchup would be dope. I really wanna see Justin get a ring.

Boston Red Sox name Astros bench coach Alex Cora as manager.

Mets hire Indians pitching coach Mickey Callaway as manager.

SF Giants move longtime pitching coach Dave Righetti to Asst. to GM, move bullpen coach Mark Gardner and hitting coach Steve Decker to off field roles also. Rumored to be going hard after Chili Davis for hitting coach.

Oh, and Justin VERLANDER was named ALCS MVP.

Allllll sit!

Fuck the Yankees.

It would be hilarious if they brought in Dusty Baker

I have no idea who they have in mind for a replacement. Girardi has history there and they exceeded a lot of people's ( me ) expectations.

I kind of put Girardi in the same boat as Ferrell though. You managed a team of superstars....to one championship.

*ETA

The rumors out now are that the young team was indifferent or just ( off the record ) straight up just didn't like him. I know he had issues with the pitcher's being unhappy about being pulled in the fifth ( Sabbathia ).

I could swear I saw Rudi Stein, of the Bad News Bears, warming up in the Astros pen to pitch the 11th, if they didn't win it in 10!

Glad for MORE baseball. I say Go Texas. Anybody but NY or Californi--they got the swimmin' pools ... movie stars and ALL THE MONEY. Not fair, unless it was my team with the big bucks and baseball superstars.

How come you hate your own team? What the heck did they do to ya? Minute Maid Park was packed to the rafters last night and free tickets are all gone today. Hope there's more jumbotron shots from there again tonight. It'll be fun to watch the fans there if they win. If Dodger fans boo the Astro pitchers on every pitch AGAIN tonight I'll have to mute it. Bastids.

5-1 Houston for the title. I was kind of hoping the Dodgers would pull it off, but I guess Houston deserves it after dealing with that hurricane. A nice bright spot for the city...
