Those racist Red Sux fans are at it again. This time Adam Jones of the O's was the subject of racial taunts
and verbal abuse.
"It's called a coward," Jones said. "What they need to do is that instead of kicking them out of the stadium, they need to fine them 10 grand, 20 grand, 30 grand. Something that really hurts somebody. Make them pay in full. And if they don't, take it out of their check.

They totally can't. They can fine the organization or make them a play a home game with no fans allowed in the stadium. Dave Zirin suggested this. It works in European soccer; the fans now police themselves.killeverything wrote:That whole scenario is disgusting, but how can they fine him?Machado wrote:http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/1929 ... enway-park

Yankees rolled into chicago this weekend and slapped around some Cubs.
Last night the Yankees waited until the 18th inning to break their hearts.
It was great to watch.
LET'S GO YANKEES!

Noah Syndergaard suspended 3 days without pay for violating team rules. At first the rumor was a he put a bog black dildo ( is there any other kind? ) in a teammates locker. He didn't show up to the facility one day. He says he couldn't get in touch with officials and had a migrane. They caught him out partying a 4am the night before

Apparently Mr. Harvey was heartbroken. His supermodel ex-GF Adrianna Lima was out with NE Patriots WR ( and champion ) Julian Edelman.
This is juicy

Mets closer Jeurys Familia diagnosed with arterial clot in right shoulder. Will undergo further tests and possible surgery. No word on if this was caused by supermodel heartbreak.

You guys watching this Bellinger kid on the Dodgers?
The guy can hit. He's only 21 years old & looks like his been in the majors for 10 years.
A very composed young man.
He reminds me a lot of Sean Green. Remember him? Was a Blue Jay, and later became a Dodger.

I've said for a while now putting Andrew Friedman at the helm with LAD's resources could be terrifying.yeahbuddy wrote:You guys watching this Bellinger kid on the Dodgers?

The MFY are going to have to wait a little longer to sign their next free agent superstar as hair flip boy inks an extension with the Nats through 2018.
Why? The Nats are playing good right now, but Dusty Baker is still their manager.

Um yeah, the thing about Friedman rings true but the Dodgers drafted Bellinger in '13 and Friedman joined the org in '14, so not exactly his doing right?

Damn. Rotator cuff-related injuries are never good to hear about. He's been great this year although the ERA doesn't necessarily sparkle (the other numbers do). They seem to have plenty of bullpen depth but that's a blow!
Also how the fuck are the Twins in first in mid-May?!

I'm juggling watching Oakland @ Texas and Houston @ MFY. Houston is one of those young, soon to be really good teams and NY has everyone ( except for Chapman apparently ) playing out of their minds. I don't think with the Yankees' age they can continue their performance all season though.
I'm in No. Cal right now helping out family. If I want I can go see Boston and Oakland Friday. I was was planning in seeing the Rivercats and waiting for Seattle to play Oakland to go, but if Sale is pitching I want to check it out. He's about to tie or about to pass Pedro Martinez' record of consexutive 10K games.
Decisions.

Carlos Correa is just all kinds of fun to watch.
Man, I'd go see that if I was you. Sale is a monster! On his way to 300 Ks.

Yeah, I'm not sure if he's pitching. Close, I believe. I had other plans, but my aunt and uncle ( whom are bigtime A's fans ) go to a lot of games and have a ticket if I want to go.MurrayFiend wrote:Carlos Correa is just all kinds of fun to watch.

Also surprised to see Cincy with their heads above water. Actually everyone but the Pirates is giving the Cubs a serious challenge so far! The NL East, on the other hand? All Nats.

The local team wins its fifth in a row. Still a few games under .500, though, and I hardly expect guys like Smoak, Pillar and Goins to keep hitting given their respective histories.

God, Smoak. I remember when "sabermetrics expert" Jack Zduriecik ( hey, I drank the fucking kool aid myself ) got him from Texas. Smoak was one of those guys that was supposed to be THE power hitter like ( former teammate ) Chris Davis.MurrayFiend wrote:The local team wins its fifth in a row. That guy was such a disappointment in Seattle. Not unlike ( drafted ahead of Mike Trout ) Dustin Ackley. I waited for long time for Smoak to break out. I'm happy he's doing well in Toronto and don't want to jinx it. I just don't think he'll continue.

I agree. He's exactly the kind of guy who'll have a hot few weeks and turn back into a pumpkin. But the Jays will take it while Tulo and JD are still out.
