So was spitting at Rivera's corner. Ho ass shit at its finest. I can't understand how that dude has any fans.
Draw was the right call for the main event. BJ won the first 2 rounds but lost the last 10-8.
I don't agree but I can see the judges going for that which is why I'm not a fan of this scoring system. I'd like to see them focusing more on the fight as a whole.
BJ would have clearly lost and so would have rampage in his fight against Machida.

Agree. Penn's first round shouldn't count for as much as Fitch's third round. BJ had a couple of takedowns in his round, while Fitch just dominated BJ for the entire third round.

That 3rd round Fitch destroyed BJ. Bj couldnt do anything except take the punishment. In all honesty, it was embarrassing.

Yep. And Fitch should have definitely gotten the decision.

Diego always surprises me.
I thought he won the fight. Joe Rogan & crowd though otherwise.
Kapman won the first, was winning second, but Diego pulled that one out, and Diego won the third. Anyone think different?
It was a great fight, and in my opinion, is right up there with the Edgar/Maynard fight as fight of the year.
Kampann totally won that fight. Stopped all but one of Diego's takedown attempts and consistent, precision striking throughout the whole fight versus intermittent, wild bursts of punches by Diego, that upon watching in slow motion, most glanced off or didn't land at all. Bullshit fucking decision, IMO.
Holy shit that KO in the Roller vs. Alvarez fight was a monster.

yeah it was, wasnt it.
Yep...bottom line is "great fight"
Disappointed or not in the decision, I have to hand it to both of them. They brought it.
If I had to guess the judges gave it to Sanchez because he never gave up, and brought it every second of fight. Not that Kampman didnt, Sanchez just brought it more.
Dana White appreciates a great fight http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news;_ylt=A ... kamp030411
I like diego Sanchez...have ever since the first TUF season...but he got his ass kicked! No 2 ways about it...Kampman won the 1st round, 2/3 of the 2nd, and lost the last to Diego...
No way in hell can the winner have both eyes shuttered, a busted bottom lip and splitting blood during the post fight interview while the loser barley has a single cut and a few minor whelps. I mean come on...Kampman broke his fucking hand on Diegos face...
There definitely needs to be a rematch for these 2....

I thought Kampman easily won the fight. I was kinda shocked when they announced the decision, it was one of the worst that I've seen. I agree with everyone else, it was a GREAT fight, but a terrible call by the judges. Diego looked like he got hit in the face with a sledgehammer. He was a mess.

Dana White has said probably no to a rematch between these two.
Because of injuries, both fighters will be on the shelf for awhile.
I think they will run it seperately to honour strikeforces contracts with fighters and showtime. However after that and most importantly after the grand prix (that is, if it keeps going) I think UFC learned from buying out pride and gaining only video licensing (btw Zuffa has quite the fucking video library now) Plus with the 7 and soon to be 8 weight classes in the UFC they have a lot of talent and could use feeder league. Plus scott coker has ties with the fight Game in Japan and could help the UFC finally crack that market in a big way.
Guys like Josh barnett, daley, and Fedor must be pretty pissed though. If they hurry they can get on with season 4 of bellator

UFC Star Takes Down Robber Before Fight
Jon "Bones" Jones -- who has a huge UFC fight tonight in New Jersey with Shogun Rua -- just subdued a robber with an awesome fighting move -- TMZ has learned.Jones was doing what has become his ritual before a fight ... he was meditating at a park in Patterson, NJ when he heard a woman scream, "I've been robbed!"
Jones began chasing the man for a good distance. When the fighter caught up with the alleged robber, he knocked the guy's legs out from under him, then placed him in a figure-four leg lock until Paterson cops arrived.
Jones' fight tonight -- UFC 128 -- is in Newark.
Jones tells TMZ, "It was a great pre-fight warm-up for me!"
UPDATE: Jones tweeted about the incident, and even posted a photo (see below) his driver took of the aftermath. He wrote, "I caught him....Coach Jackson finished him ... It feels so good to help others. It gives me power and energy."
Personally, I blame Triple H -
The sig good for any occasion.
