My Jayhawks are ranked numero uno, I don't like that. It's a fucking curse.
How are your teams sitting this year? I'd really like to match up against the mighty #2 Michigan State again, they're fucking gooooood. Damn.
It's going to be another great season for college basketball.

Yeah, that's when Michigan'll be in the NIT so don't forget.Redman77 wrote:I thought NCAA basketball started in March.

Should be a mediocre year for my Blue Devils, much as it has been the past several. A Sweet 16 would be a great year, IMO.

Re: NCAA Basketball
I've been a UK fan all my life. Kinda fucked up that they are ranked #4 considering the complete failure last year. The Cats are undefeated, but look at the talent they have this year compared to last year. I think that if Walls and Bledsoe worried half as much about defense as they are about making the highlight reel, they would be in a lot better shape on turnovers.
They have already proved they can, and will, give up a big lead like they did against NC Saturday. Lucky they didn't give that one up.
Wondering how they'll fare against Uconn Wednesday.

Re: NCAA Basketball
Another Wildcat fan here. I love my team, especially after the two dreadful Gillispie years. Coach Cal has already brought us more top recruits in a few months than Billy G., and even Tubby, did in his last few years. People are excited again and that's a good thing around here. I think they are waaaaaaaaay overrated right now. In spurts, they can play with anybody in the nation, but............in spurts, they are as bad as anybody in the nation. Gonna be a fun bunch to watch, and I'm looking forward to a great season all around.

It's about damn time Cat fans have something to be proud of. I'm liking Coach Cal already. He coaches the entire game, not just when they're ahead.PointBlank wrote:Another Wildcat fan here. Slim chance of this happening, but I'd like to see all the new guys stay for the full ride, but there's already talk of Walls leaving for the NBA.

What was the closest game the eventual champion played in the tournament last year? Enjoy your mediocre at best basketball.WhiteHouseSubsAC wrote:That's why they have the least exciting pro league in sports, the NBA. Enjoy.johnk5150 wrote:"Student Athletics" is a joke. Yeah, because the Laker run was a real nail biter. Did I just see that the Bulls lost to the fucking NETS? The NBA..it's FANtastic!johnk5150 wrote:What was the closest game the eventual champion played in the tournament last year? There's definitely something wrong with Rose. The Bulls don't have a leader. They're shitty.WhiteHouseSubsAC wrote:

Re: NCAA Basketball
Big win for UK tonight against U. Conn. That was a helluva game. They went at it pretty good. After we jumped out 12-0, I thought it was over. I should have known better. Great atmosphere for a college game at the Garden. I hope the entire country got a good look at John Wall tonight. He took over at the end with the game on the line. The kid is awesome.

And plenty of people enjoy NCAA basketball as well. I was once a huge fan of the NBA, but that shit sucks now, and I'm a huge bball fan.johnk5150 wrote:I and millions of others do. Thought the Cats were gonna end up with their first loss by the way they started the game today. Talk about a hostile environment!

Re: NCAA Basketball
Kansas, Texas, and Kentucky all continue to look strong. I also like the way Syracuse is playing. U Conn. will be heard from again before the year is over. Duke looks really good at times, as does N. Carolina. W. Virginia has won some nailbiters in the past week. Who else is looking good ?
