Great, a film that celebrates a decade's worth of Juvenile Delinquents and Criminals getting free rides at a major university. I'm totally down.

Miami was my favorite team growing up and still today...the film was just a reminder of how badass they truly were!...what was it 150 penalty yards first half, ha,ha
really they should of had 6 rings, these ESPN 30 films are just awesome

I'm a Syracuse fan and one of the best College FB games I've ever seen was in 92 or 93...#1 Miami at #4 Syracuse, last game of the year. Miami won 16-10, stopping a potential game winning drive in the last seconds.

I notice they didn't mention the totally one sided ass beating that the mighty "U" took in the Sugar Bowl at the end of the 1992 season.
Those cocky sons of bitches were all over the French Quarter talking about how bad they were going to beat 'Bama. Gino Toretta still has nightmares about Curry and Copeland coming off the ends.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see any mention of the other Sugar Bowl ass beating they got in 1986.tyke wrote:I notice they didn't mention the totally one sided ass beating that the mighty "U" took in the Sugar Bowl at the end of the 1992 season.

I forgot what morons they were. The amount of NFl talent that has come from the school is amazing though.

Yes, it was Tennessee. Vinny Testeverde was Miami's QB.tyke wrote:That was the year Tennessee got them wasn't it? Nope. Nah i think hes just drunk, but he says he had to many "concussions"...
"In a July article Kosar says he had 'a lot' of concussions, as well as numerous other injuries."http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/ ... runk_c.php
Personally, I blame Triple H -
The sig good for any occasion.

They were an easy team to root against.

Re: The "U" ESPN Film
They were extremely talented. And cocky. And they backed it up, most of the time.
The film was made by a Miami grad, so of course he didn't show the Bama game. Apparently he felt the Penn State game was balance enough. As others have said, he also forgot the Tennessee game, and the Washington game where Dwayne Johnson was about crying afterwards.
I thought it was hysterical in 2002 that Miami fans accused Ohio State of playing dirty.
Kosar looked hammered. He hasn't always been like that.

Re: The "U" ESPN Film
With regards to Kosar, I don't know what all is going on.
I'm in Ohio, and Kosar does the Browns preseason games, and he always sounds hammered. And no, he didn't always talk and sound like that. I've watched the Browns since the Brian Sipe era. Bernie was never the most articulate fellow on the planet mind you, but I listened to just about every pre and post game interview he ever did on the Browns Radio Network. Bernie is slipping like Holyfield.
