ESPN's playoff fantasy bracket..

So I destroy my league this year with an 11-2 record, and lost the 2 games by a total of 9 points.
I get a first round bye and this coming week is my 1st playoff game. .
My reward is getting to play the 5th seed while the guy with the 2nd seed is playing the 6th seed. the guy I'm playing probably has the second best team in the league after me. His only fault was he was in my division.
This is why a couple years ago I swore off fantasy football. Anybody have this problem? Is ESPN always like this?
