this will be the year the Chargers dont choke in the playoffs i think for some reason
Cowboys to beat Saints, it will happen
Cowboys to beat Saints, it will happen
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Yes, I suppose a December win for Dallas IS a reason for their fans to gloat. Now maybe they can win one in January.
Naaaaaahhhhh...

Even the Giants swept the Cowboys this year. What a sad sack team.

It's a new season chico!
Nobody can take away the very impressive win at the saints. Football experts on tv love to talk about, "smacking the opponent in the mouth". I think Dallas, with there O and D did exactly that last night in this game.
Dallas still has to improve on certain things, but the win just might
turn this season around.
Next up are the skins on Sunday night-NBC

Nice win for the Cowboys. Haven't won in the Dome in 15 yrs. And in December.
Hopefully they can continue on.
Hopefully they can continue on.

I have to admit, I did not think we could hang with the saints forBludegeon wrote:Nice win for the Cowboys. Haven't won in the Dome in 15 yrs. And in December.

4 quarters. I also did not see the Offense coming out fast
in the 1st quarter.
Had to have the win. If we lost the game, our season would be probably
over.
Re: $1000 bet that the Cowboys beat Saints?
Most people that don't have their head up their ass knew the time was ripe for a Saints loss. The Saints have been squeaking by some shit teams and the faggots of Dallas had their backs against the wall.Machado wrote:I have to admit, I did not think we could hang with the saints forBludegeon wrote:Nice win for the Cowboys. Give credit where it's due. The Cowboys showed up. New Orleans didn't. I don't think it's indicative of what either of those teams will be doing the rest of the way though.

Romo gets another foot on that play and he's a hero...it sucked. The win over the saints was huge. They haven't played great, but if they can use this as momentum and get in the playoffs with some confidence, they have a good chance to win it all. Saints and Vikings are now both proven to be beatable, Eagles choke constantly in the playoffs...it's anybody's NFC title to win and maybe the 'Boys will peak at the end of the season for once.

Kudos for the win, and kudos for calling it in advance, but come on dude, it was against a Saints team that was due a letdown. The Cowboys have virtually no chance of "winning it all" this year.

Gotta admit, the Cowboys looked good today and they have some serious momentum going.

God I hope the Saints win it, I've got a bartending shift being held for me in New Orleans at my old bar if they make it to the Super Bowl ($$$$$$$). However, it's looking like whoever plays the Saints is going to run over them. They look like shit.
"FUN'S OVER."

On the night of this game, nobody was expecting the Cowboys to win that game.
Weeks later, after the Saints continue to lose, it's easy for you to say any negative about the saints.
Re: $1000 bet that the Cowboys beat Saints?
Even after sweeping the Eagles, this week's game is the one that scares me the most. For ONCE they are playing well at the right time though.

You are preaching to the choir. As much as I loved watching Dallas dominate the eagles courtesy of the NFL RZ channel in HD, the game is now over. Time to concentrate of this week and try to once again contain the eagles offense and passing game.

Yeah, the Cowboys appear to be peaking at the right time. But if I'm a Cowboys fan, playing Philly again scares me. Philly is scrappy, and I'm sure they are PISSED at themselves. Should be interesting.Machado wrote:ROADHEAD wrote:Even after sweeping the Eagles, this week's game is the one that scares me the most. For ONCE they are playing well at the right time though.

Thanks for telling us how you watched the game, but really, I don't give a fuck.

Re: $1000 bet that the Cowboys beat Saints?
Playoff rematches started with Chiefs
Remarkably, the first round of the NFL playoffs this weekend will feature three rematches of final-week, regular-season games.
The Jets, who whipped the Bengals 37-0 on Sunday night, will travel to Cincinnati; and the Eagles, who lost 24-0 to the Cowboys, will return to Dallas for wild-card games on Saturday.
And on Sunday, the Packers, who hammered the Cardinals 33-7, will return to Arizona on Sunday.
Twice, since the current playoff format began in 1990, there have been two rematches _ in 1993 and 2001. Six other times, there have been one rematch, starting in 1991 with the Raiders and Chiefs.
Of the nine rematches, the team that won the regular-season finale is 4-5 in the rematch in the playoffs.
The most memorable loss was in the 1992 season when Houston beat Buffalo 22-7 in the regular-season finale only to lose 41-38 in overtime in the wild-card game. Houston led 35-3 at one time, and the 32-point comeeback by the Bills is the greatest come-from-behind effort in NFL history.
In 1991, the Chiefs beat the LA Raiders 27-21 in Los Angeles, earning homefield advantage for the wild-card game.
The Chiefs then won the first post-season game ever played at Arrowhead, beating the Todd Marinovich-led Raiders 10-6.
That was a long ago, wasn't it?
Here's the list of rematches of meetings in the final regular-season week and first round of the playoffs:
2004 Indianapolis vs. Denver
Denver 33-14, season finale
Indianapolis 49-24 playoff game
2001 Tampa Bay vs. Philadelphia
Philadelphia 17-3, season finale
Philadelphia 31-9, playoff game
2001 NY Jets vs. Oakland
Jets 24-22, season finale
Oakland 38-24, playoff game
2000 New Orleans vs. St. Louis
St. Louis 26-21, season finale
New Orleans 31-28, playoff game
1997 New England vs. Miami
New England 14-12, season finale
New England 17-13, playoff game
1993 Detroit vs. Green Bay
Detroit 30-20, season finale
Green Bay 28-24, playoff game
1993 Denver vs. LA Raiders
Raiders 33-30(OT), season finale
Raiders 42-24, playoff game
1992 Buffalo vs. Houston Oilers
Houston 27-3, season finale
Buffalo 41-38 (OT), playoff game
1991 Kansas City vs. LA Raiders
Kansas City 27-21, season finale
Kansas City, 10-6 playoff game
