BRADNTON, FL. - A Suncoast woman claims Tiger Woods is the father on her son, and she's going to court to try to prove it.

ABC 7 was there when she filed the paperwork to get a DNA test from the world's number one golfer.

While Tiger Woods plays the first round of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, on the other side of the country at the Manatee County Courthouse, Bradenton's Devon James petitions for a paternity test.

"My mom is just claiming that she has proof that she knows who the father is and I have proof knowing it wasn't who she's claiming, so I just feel that I need the truth to be out there…to get my side of the story out there," says James.

James, a porn actress, claims the father of her 9-year-old son is Tiger Woods. The paperwork filed Thursday asks the court to order DNA testing for her son and Tiger.

"I would like him in my kid's life, because it's really hard. He's at the age where he's asking why his skin color is different, why his eyes look different. That's hard to answer."

James claims she isn't after any money or support from tiger woods. She just wants her mom and her son to know the truth.
