Re: Greatest sports ownings
Nolan Ryan and his family were really cool. He lived a block away when I was a kid and he was an Angel.
Ever heard of the FUCKING LAKE SHOW?
They are more entertaining and far more successful than every one of those fucking stupid overpaid loser assholes from that pathetic shit for brains IQ reduction zone city you are wasting your life in.
Unless you live in Los Angeles, then you are just a stupid asshole.
Revealing.

Poor Marvis never should have been in the ring, and Ali used to chastise him for pushing his son into boxing.

Re: Greatest sports ownings
Biggest comeback in sports history! When the little 199 million dollar team, beat the big bad 200 million dollar team.
Tim Duncan making Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher cry like bitches.
Kobe "the next Micheal Jordan" Bryant getting help getting past the Kings in 2002. From Tim Donaghy.
The "next Jordan" doing what Jordan does......lose in the Finals......again.
Yet again......"Jordan", as he loses to the Celtics.
Here's another thing we've never seen Jordan do........cry.
let's see. That's "win" a series fixed by the refs? Check. Lose in the Finals? Check. Cry like a bitch? Check. The next Micheal Jordan? Shut the fuck up.

Evander Holyfields thrashing of Mike Tyson in 96', I was in a room full of delusional Tysonites who thought he actually had a chance. It's hilarious how many people out there actually believe that guy is an all time top 10 HW.

Marvin Hagler knocking out a smiling Tommy Hearns might be my personal favorite as far as boxing goes.

Yep and Barrera beating prince hamed into obscurity, or Trinidad's beating of Vargas. Both cases pretty much ruined the losers careers though vargas was a fucking warrior in that fight and went on to fight other big fights he was just never the same and his handlers pushed himGreazyNutz wrote:Marvin Hagler knocking out a smiling Tommy Hearns might be my personal favorite as far as boxing goes.

Tyson was way past his prime and had long since forgotten how to fight and lost his desire.
At his best - 1987-1988, I put Tyson in the top 10. He was a great fighter for a brief period of time. It's really too bad he didn't fight Holyfield back then.

Hollyfield was past his prime too. Plus Tyson in his "prime" ( or close to reaching it ) couldn't beat Lewis. He lost to him when they were ams too.Crazy Levi wrote:Not fair.dtmfs wrote:Evander Holyfields thrashing of Mike Tyson in 96', I was in a room full of delusional Tysonites who thought he actually had a chance. Yes, I'm aware of that. Tyson was still in far worse shape. This shit is well documented, and you can see it just from watching the tapes. In the early days he would bob and weave, unleash devastating combos.killeverything wrote:Hollyfield was past his prime too. Plus Tyson in his "prime" ( or close to reaching it ) couldn't beat Lewis. By the time he got to Holyfield, he was a straight ahead head one punch hunter with virtually no movement or defense.
Not the same guy - not even close.
I think Tyson in 1987, with Kevin Rooney in his corner, would have fucked Lewis up, badly. We'll never know of course. Ams don't really count. He was an amateur back then. Tyson lost to Henry Tillman in the ams too lol.
