But I had the Patriots +1 and the over.
Totally,
That was some good ol' Cowboys play calling there.. LOL..How in the fuck do you not give it to Lynch? Especially when he just ran for like 8 yrds the play before..
I hesitate to say this, but I don't get it. What am I looking at here?
Sherman was getting cocky flashing 24, as in 24 points when they went up 10 points.
My MIL sent a group facebook message at the same time asking who was the best team in the nation (BTW, she has no interest whatsoever in football, but lived in Washington) and I didn't answer until the end of the game "apparently the Patriots".
So if you haven't seen Mr angry Doug Baldwin's touchdown celebration that was not shown on TV and cost them a fifteen yard penalty by now go Google it. As a fan that pisses me off more than anything Lynch or Sherman have done over the years.
I don't know what his "it's a personal message" point was but essentially that football is the reason you have a job and you want to simulate shitting on your job then the NFL needs to dump you like the piece of shit you are.

Actually Sherman was flashing the "24" as a taunt Patriots corner Derelle Revis after he got beaten for a touchdown in the 3rd..
great game.
Obviously, the goal line call was fucking idiocy.
But the right team won: the Patriots mostly outplayed the Seahawks for 3 of the 4 quarters and the Hawks aren't on the goal line without that Kearse channeling David Tyree with that catch -- I couldn't believe that the Patriots were going lose another superbowl with another fluke catch.
many also seem to be missing Belichick's great decision to NOT call a time-out at the goal line at the very end of the game. I thought it was a mistake to not preserve time, assuming Seattle was certainly going to score. But the Evil One had figured out that letting time run-off was going to put Carroll in a bit of dilemma IF the Patriots could get the stop on 2nd down -- he would have to burn his last time-out and then you run the risk of whether to run it on 3rd down or not with little time on the clock.
Levi, you might be right on your first record but the way I heard it was it's the longest time in between a QB's first championship and his last championship which is 13 years.
And like Facedown said big number 75 Vince Wilfork has been with Brady and Belichick all this time also.

OK - how about not counting benchwarmers like Jim McMahon who won a second ring a decade plus later with the Packers.
Starting QBs? I can't think of anybody who won one 10 years in between but I could be wrong.

F U Johnny. Now you want privacy? What's the matter with your attention seeking ass now?

Pats -1 and walked away with some cash.
i've been gambling my whole life and i made one of the stupidest bets ever last night
its embarrasing..when the game was 7-0 in the 2nd quarter with 8 mins left they had a commercial break so i jumped on 5 dimes and the in game line the over and under was 36 1/2 and i jumped on the under...then of course they get 3 touchdowns the rest of the 2nd quarter i was pretty much screwed
The team was doomed from the beginning. I question the sequence. Instead of worrying about taking the lead, they wanted to score the go ahead TD with just the right amount of time remaining on the clock to prevent NE from having an opportunity.
Carroll went into detail about how the second-down call was part of a pre-planned sequence.
"I was so confident we were going to get it done," Carroll said. "Making the call we made was just part of the sequence. We were very confident in the sequence. We had a very clear thought about what was going on.
"We thought about our personnel who were coming in the game after the first play [a 4-yard run to the 1 by Lynch on first down] when we came up short, with three wide receivers in the game [on second down]. We had thought about throwing the ball there. That was part of the reason we sent that group in. When [the Patriots] sent their goal-line guys in, I know we have the advantage on the matchups in the passing game."
Carroll said throwing the ball always was part of the plan.
"One of those downs we were likely to throw the ball and maybe two of those downs," Carroll said, "depending on how we had to save the clock to get in all of our plays. It wasn't just run the ball. That wasn't what the thought was."
