Well I guess johnk5150 should be happy now with his Bears since it looks like Cutler has played his last game for the Bears franchise.

Somebody will pick him up and they will end up regretting that decision guaranteed.

Vikes D, best I've seen this year. Those fuckers get after it and are going 100 MPH every single play.
On the flip side, the offense for the Vikes stinks and Bradford plays scared.

This was most definitely a "trap" game for Dallas but they were fortunate enough to get of town with a win.
Next up are the NY football Giants. Sunday night game. 10 days away.

By the way, the refs were horrible tonight. They called penalties are players that were not penalties
and at the end of the game the ref missed an obvious hit to the face of Bradford. Maybe the
way Sam played, the ref didn't realize number 8 was the QB

Another awesome game by Dank! Continues to show poise and play like a 5th year QB as the Cowboys beat the Mighty Vikings who've.....Lost 6 of their last 7 games. How many fumbles does Dank have by now?

You're right, even the Bears beat the Vikings during there implosion. They've lost to the Lions twice and everyone in the NFC Least. It was the Cowboys hardest test all year as it went down to the wire.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If Teddy and Peterson didn't go down the Vikings would have been an interesting team. I'm not big on Teddy but Bradford makes Alex Smith look like the Mad Bomber. He's not even game managing at this point.......Playing it safe, getting sacked and I doubt he's thrown a pass to his 3rd read/progression. Haven't completed anything long all season, 6.9yds/A isn't going to open up the running game let alone down the field. It could have been the Vikings year and the funny part is they're still in the race!

24th in scoring, under 20 points a game and they're still a +24 Diff says a lot about their Defense........I'd fire the O coordinator before Bradford but they need to get something down the field and in the endzone.

So is it all on Bradford or does he lack weapons? I don't know what to think when Stefon Diggs is their leading WR.
Do the Vikings lack WR's? What happened to Cordarrelle Patterson? Another specialist who can't make it at WR or a WR without a QB? Letting Mike Wallace go couldn't be the down fall.

I guess it's simple, they lost Peterson and Teddy.......

Utah, at the rate you are going, I wish that it was you who bet me and not Gritt. You sure do have a way
to type a lot of words and shove them all into your big mouth.
Are you not aware of the Vikes D or are you just omitting the facts about the Vikes D?
Have you ever heard of a trap game or do you merely pretend to know something about football
and really don't know much at all? I'm surprise you have not blamed the loss on the Vikes
head coach who had emergency eye surgery and had to miss the game tonight.

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is scheduled to undergo season ending back surgery Friday....Rob Gronkowski's back injury continues the curse of NFL players on the cover of Madden suffering serious injuries.

His loss sums up the NFL this seasons and is a huge blow to the Pat's. It's anyone's RING.
IMO Gronk going down opens the door in the AFC. Haven't looked but I bet the Pat's odds of a SB went down.....They've been the favorites, not sure where they stand now.

I favored the Pat's but picked the Steeler's before the season. AFC....I'm not sure who to pick now.

Fucking Pittsburgh, I think if Ben can get and stay healthy, if the team can pull it together and MAKE the playoffs they could be dangerous. They've had a lot of issues and problems but I can't see them letting the Ravens take the Division. That 4 game losing streak might have done them in with a couple of tough games ahead. If they beat the Giants this week it's on, if not it might be game over.

This weeks games of interest
Chiefs vs Falcons
Giants vs Steelers
Raiders vs Bills
Skins vs Cards

Fish vs Ravens is going to be an ugly game
Bears vs Niners.......2-9 vs 1-10....

Vikings' comeback bid vs. Cowboys ends in controversial no-call

Exhibit Number Too Many why the NFL needs to hire full-time officials to call its games: the ending of "Thursday Night Football" between the Cowboys and Vikings.

Vikings Victimized By Blatant Missed Call On Final Play Vs. Cowboys

LOOK: Vikings-Cowboys ends in controversy after missed calls

Can NFL keep pushing back on reviews for penalties after no-call costs Vikings?

Reaction: Refs blown call loses it for Vikings

Controversy! Dallas bailed out by refs in Thursday night robbery in Minnesota

A couple of controversial calls go Dallas' way, and the Cowboys escape with a win

#NFL officials have a homicide unit for every breath on Brady & Brees ankles, but miss a smash to head of QB on game-deciding play. Nice.

All the Vikings needed was a 2-point conversion to tie the game and send it to overtime. Instead, the game essentially ended on a bad overthrow from Sam Bradford — except, the game shouldn't have been essentially over at that point. Cowboys defensive tackle Cedric Thornton hit Bradford in the head, which should have given the Vikings another chance at the tie from the 3-yard line. "(Corrente) told me that I did not get hit in the facemask," Bradford said.

I still think they have the best shot in the AFC to get to the SB, you know if everyone else stays healthy, I just don't know that they can win it now.
Maybe this will move up the time-table on getting the ball to Malcolm Mitchell more, it does appear that Brady trusts him more now.

Denver has a lights-out defense, but their offense sucks balls.

Yes, a miss call at the end of the Cowboys/Vikings game.

Flip the teams. I would still be glad it wasn't called. Jesus, it's fucking football for piss sakes. It wasn't a blow to the head, he scraped his facemask. Which, yes, should've been called. 5yd facemask.

The calls were fucked on both sides for the teams playing. Like in every damn game. Nothing different. What are fulltime refs going to do? The same damn shit. Too many rules nowadays. They all get confused on what actually is a penalty and what isn't.

A trap game, by the way Mach. you dolt, would've been the Browns game. Not this game. Not this Vikings team with a good defense and with Dallas playing a team they haven't beat at home in some time.
Yes, Bradford is still Bradford. The Rams ruined him. lol. ANY of the next four games are going to be a test and difficult for Dallas.

I see Dallas losing 2 and a good chance they win 2. Course, they could lose 3. Who knows. They need some humility, adversity. Last night was a good start, because, Dallas played a lousy game and got away with a win. Giants always give the Cowboys fits. Tampa? That could be a win. Detroit will go down to the wire. So will Philly, they almost always do.

Utah claims to know enough NFL to be a head coach but we all know his knowledge takes him as far as the Waterboy
The game last night was indeed a trap game. Thurs night road game, lowly Vikes and the upcoming match up with the NY Giants
next Sunday night. If that is not a trap game I do not know what is.
Anyway, I said it last night and I'll type it again, the refs are brutal. Listen, a flag on the Vikes LT could have been called on that final play.
He was guilty of a false start. Blatant false start. If that is a penalty in the 1Q, should be a penalty on the 2 point try.

I wasn't even going to start........."Trap game" is the funniest shit I've heard in a long time and I'm gonna use it in a joke once a day for the next month.

Machado, you probably heard it during the extended Pre, on some over saturated NFL 24 hours a day channel or webpage how they have to constantly come up with new crap to talk about and someone tossed it out there........Trap game! Who says that shit. Did you google or use your little orphan Annie secret decoder ring to figure that one out?

I'm still laughing. Like Dallas is going to overlook all the weak ass teams they've faced then go into Minnesota overconfident.

It's a sleeper! A possible upset! No wait, it's, it's............A TRAP GAME!

It's a good thing Dallas didn't get pregnant.

The Pats will be fine, They started the season without Brady and Gronk didn't they? I haven't paid too much attention but is Bennett healthy? He filled in pretty damn good, I think the pats need to worry about their D and if Miami keeps playing well that last game against them, Miami had there way with the pats with home field on the line, one of the strangest games I've seen with Brady hardly throwing the entire first half. In the AFC it's def the Pats and Raiders , sorry Utah it still feels weird typing that, but they deserve credit with the players they've drafted the last few years, wasn't Machado knocking Carr not long ago, He's the fav for league MVP right now.

I'm psyched with the Raiders but their D is fucking horrible....Giving up 25 points a game isn't going to cut it. The front 4 is solid but their secondary is so bad they can't/don't blitz. The O-line is a brick wall, Carr is tearing it up but without a D I don't see them going far. The next two weeks vs the Bills and Chiefs will show if they're smoke and mirrors. Their remaining schedule has bumps ahead. I'm picking KC to win the AFC West.

I've read stuff knocking the Pat's D but they're solid, they give up some passing yards but stingy on points so I don't see the issue.

I still view the Pat's as the AFC favorites by a nudge, Belichick is the wizard at adjustments and game planning but IMO Gronk is a player who can't be replaced. Now that teams don't have to game plan for him they're open to play soft or blitz at will. It's weakened them big time, we'll see but I think the Pat's are beatable now.......At the same time it's like the entire AFC and NFL is weaker so who's going to step up?

If the Steelers can get past the next couple games vs the Giants and Bills to face the Ravens again they could be dangerous but they got stomped by the Fish and lost 4 in a row before beating up the Browns and Colts...WTF team is going to show up.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How about ex Jets and Chiefs RB Joe McKnight getting killed? A dude shot him 3 times from his car and they just released him from jail without charges......Yet.

It was a case of road rage, on the surface sounds like an ugly murder then the more news that comes out it sounds like McKnight was the instigator. The deeper you read into the story the more it sounds like McKnight was a thug with issues.....not that he deserved to be shot 3 times in the street over road rage and the shooter walking out the door without being charged....Yet....But still. Kind of ugly.

------------

The man who shot Joe McKnight three times from inside his car was released from custody overnight and has not been formally charged in the death of the former USC Trojans and New York Jets running back, authorities said Friday.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/1818 ... -continues

McKnight is the second NFL player to die as a result of an apparent road rage incident in 2016. New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith was killed in April.

Also, while the Vikings have an above average defense you must not have watched Denver, Kansas City, or Baltimore this year. All three of those teams have a better defense than Minnesota.

"Safety Earl Thomas tweets about retiring after exiting with cracked tibia" :(

SEATTLE -- Seahawks safety Earl Thomas left Sunday night's game against the Carolina Panthers with a lower left leg injury and later posted a tweet that suggested he is contemplating retirement.

The team announced that Thomas suffered a lower leg fracture and would not return. Seattle coach Pete Carroll told NBC at halftime that Thomas cracked his tibia.
--------

Just like Gronk, this is a blow to Seattle if the Hawks don't work out the bugs in their offense they could be another beatable team.

---------------------------------------
Bears 26 49ers 6

Kapperfish gets yanked! 1/5 4yds 5-sacks 1 fumble!
Gabbert 4/10 35yds 1-sack
TEAM - 5/15 6yds 6-sacks for -33

Go Chip! Might as well Kneel with Kapper for the rest of the season.

--------------------------
Ravens 38 Fish 6
Fish get blown out, smoke n mirrors....It's not gonna happen with Tannehill but if they make the playoffs it proves..........This season is a FLUKE

---------------------

Skins + Giants = no soup for you.

I bet this loss puts the Skins out while the Giants get to face the Cowgirls....I think they'll split the season.

------------------------------------------

Falcons 28 Chiefs 29

Sounded like a good game the Chiefs are tough, I'm so pulling for the Falcons.

Is Dak holding extra points?

Bottom line is the Cowboys hate is weird. They're good. Their fans. Not so much.

The hate comes from their fan base.......Well, most of them. Unless their bragging or crying about Dallas they don't talk about football.

The Cowboys are good it's the rest of the NFL that's not. It's a FLUKE season. As of today The Raiders and Cowboys are the #1 seeds. That's insane even if the season don't end that way. Tampa is the #1 WC. It's a watered down league, a lot of teams around .500 and with no dominating teams left.

The Panthers are toast and how many long playoff dynasty runs will end this season? The Bengals are done with the Cardinals and Packers not far behind. Denver's in the thick yet there's a chance they could miss as well. Seattle has problems and more after tonight's win.

The way things sit right now Seattle looks like the only NFC team returning to the playoffs from last year. Crazy?

It's a FLUKE and upside down season, the only team left is the Patriots and we know they're hurting. Dallas is good because they haven't faced a strong team and I don't think there's any left.
The Brown, Niners, Bears, Eagles and Bengals isn't as impressive as squeaking by the Vik's, Pack and Steelers when they were beat up on losing streaks. They could go one and done or win out at this point.

With that said, what they've done is impressive. It's the rest of the league that's shocking.

If only the Falcons had a bit more D and Ryan didn't Palmer from time to time. Man I wished they beat KC.

His loss sums up the NFL this seasons and is a huge blow to the Pat's. It's anyone's RING.
IMO Gronk going down opens the door in the AFC. Haven't looked but I bet the Pat's odds of a SB went down.....They've been the favorites, not sure where they stand now.

RE: Madden Curse, I didn't want Gronk anywhere near Madden, I boycotted even buying this years version. I thought sports guys were all superstitious?
That said, we did get a kick-ass funny commercial with Gronk as JBJ so I suppose there is that.

Its a huge fucking loss, and anyone who tries to downplay it are only lying to themselves.

Same for KC.
Oh, I think they'll be fine too. Bennett has been battling an ankle injury for the past 3-4 weeks, hopefully he will get that back to 100% by playoff time.
It would take a lot for the Pats to not win the AFC East being three games up with four left to go, but that is why they play the games.
Right now Oakland has the upper hand on home field advantage. Playoffs look like they'll be fun this year.

Don't love or hate Cowboys. Another generation of failure for the next guy will be fun to see

Carr Super Bowl MVP would be cool

Tampa back in Super Bowl would rule vs Tennessee
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

The road will go through New England, they should be able to lock down the AFC. The only thing facing them is the Tuck Rule!

After the Pat's it's a step down, the AFC is a battle with a lot of questions marks.

On tap, Oakland has an ugly finish with 3 road games facing the entire division at KC, Denver, Chargers with one home game vs the Colts...That could turn things upside down for Oakland. The Raiders could be a memory in 3 weeks when they go into Denver for their last game fighting for a WC.

Luck throws 4tds, Colt's move into a 3way tie for 1st....Titans, Texans and Colts = 6-6

Jet's - QB Bryce Petty will finish out the season with Fitz on the bench! Good thing Fitz held out then made excuses "The Jets don't believe in me"!

Falcons banged up vs KC.......WR's Sanu with a groin and Jones with turf toe while LT Matthews suffered a knee sprain....Should be figured out come Wednesday practice.

Skins - Kirk Cousins? Payday? Started out horrible, finishing strong......
