Jets fans have the two worst QBs in the league on their team.

Good to have choices.

Caleb Hanie is definitely worse than both of them. Why the Broncos signed him, to a two year deal, is astonishing!

My son told my wife while playing catch, 'mom you throw like Hanie'.

He's pure crap. I honestly thought he play himself out of the league last year when Cutler went down.

seems like Tebow made a good choice between be a Jaguar or Jet

what teams in the league would give him a true chance to start? wouldn't Jets be on the top of that list?

ask 100 fans in New York who is the QB of the town?
80 say Tebow

20 wearing Giants Superbowl 2012 shirts..19 say Tebow!
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

I don't know that Tebow would have more of a chance to start in NY than in Jacksonville, Blaine Gabbert wasn't impressing anyone last season. This seems more like a move to light a fire under Sanchez's ass and sell jerseys rather than potentially giving Tebow the job.

Any fan claiming that Tebow is the top NY quaterback doesn't know shit about football, and jersey sales are all fine and dandy for the Jets organization, but don't do shit for Tebow if he's wanting to start at QB for an NFL team.

His popularity is unquestioned in Florida, so all the jersey sales and recognition would come if he went to Jacksonville, NY isn't doing anything special for him. Terrible move by the Jets, not a good place for Tebow to be either.

When was the last time a "highly touted, "heavily recruited out of high school QB left USC and became a solid NFL QB???

Sanchez will eventually be a back-up QB for some team within 2 years
Leinart has already worn out his welcome for a couple organizations

Jesus...I just heard about 3 minutes of Tebow's introductory press conference. Am I the only one that hears Buddy the Elf EVERY time he speaks? "I like smiling. Smiling's my favorite". "Tim Tebow, what's your favorite color?"

Seriously, he seems like the nicest guy in the world and I wish him luck, but I laugh every time I hear him speak and see him play.

Ballsy. He should do it. The Tuna couldn't walk into a better situation, and it'll be one year and done. If ever he'd get back into coaching this is it.

Still, would put him back from hall of fame consideration for an extra 5 years. And he doesn't look like he'll live that long.

NFL owners have voted to adopt playoff overtime rules for the regular season.

Edit: and to review all turnovers.

Audio has emerged from Gregg Williams prior to a game against San Fran where he tells players to injure.
This on the day when Payton and Loomis are to have their appeals heard.

"We don’t fucking apologize for how we’re going to play," Williams says to open the speech. Multiple times, he refers to the NFL as a "production business."

"Kill the head and the body will die," Williams says. "We’ve got to do everything in the world to make sure we kill Frank Gore’s head. We want him running sideways. We want his head sideways.

"Little 32 (49ers backup running back Kendall Hunter)? We want to knock the fuck out of him."

Williams also appears to instruct his team to take cheap shots at opponents heads in the pile between plays.

"Every single one of you, before you get off the pile, affect the head," Says Williams. "Early, affect the head. Continue, touch and hit the head."

The Saints lost the game 36-32. It was Gregg Williams last game with the Saints.

Think Williams will ever get another job in football?"

"The reality of the Gregg Williams-led Saints bounty program is worse than we may have imagined.

A damning audio tape was released today by by documentary filmmakers who are making a film entitled "The United States of Football." The tape was recorded on January 13, 2011 at the Saints' team hotel prior to a playoff game against the San Fransisco 49ers. USOF has a longer version of the tape at their site.

In a savage and disgusting speech, Williams talks at length about attacking and injuring the 49ers' heads, specifically Frank Gore and Alex Smith. He instructs his Saints players to exploitthe concussion of 49ers receiver Kyle Williams, targets Michael Crabtree's ACL and vows to pay for the first hit on Alex Smith's chin."

The Saints are not only completely classless cheaters, they are also total idiots. They knew the investigation was ongoing, yet they not only continued their disgusting behavior, but they also allowed a filmmaker to record it! Complete arrogance and stupidity on their part. Ban the fucker for life.

his most damning comment referred to "concussions". that is going way over the line. the NFL can not tolerate comments like that about a subject that
is very, very serious.

Oh for fuck's sake

http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2012/04/0 ... olt-mccoy/
A group of Illinois high school football players were thrilled when NFL quarterback Colt McCoy dropped by to speak about his faith and toss the pigskin around with them, but the agency that oversees prep sports in the state is considering throwing a flag.

Ken Leonard, athletic director and football coach at Sacred Heart-Griffin in Springfield, said McCoy, the starting signal caller for the Cleveland Browns, visited the school on March 13 while in town for the annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes banquet. While at the school, McCoy "threw the ball around a little bit" to several students, including football player Malik Turner, prompting a complaint to the Illinois High School Association about whether the workout represented an illegal, off-season practice for the Cyclones.

"He shared his faith and played with them and threw the ball around a little bit," Leonard said of McCoy. "It was unbelievable experience. I'm sorry if any rules were broken, but in this instance, if I was wrong, I don't want to be right."

Matt Troha, assistant executive director for the Illinois High School Association, confirmed that the organization has requested information from school officials regarding McCoy's appearance.

"The crux of the issue doesn’t revolve around Colt McCoy’s appearance or involvement, but rather the IHSA by-laws that dictate the types of activities a coach and team can organize and participate in when a sport is not in-season," Troha wrote FoxNews.com in an email.

It doesn't really matter. We blew it 2 straight years in the playoffs to inferior teams. Our defense could have cheated all day and still fucking missed every tackle. At least this year the whole thing is getting revamped.

The 49ers an inferior team over the Saints? You might want to look at the number of wins/losses that each team has over the other. 5 clean Super Bowl wins over 1 tainted Super Bowl win.
