Damn man, 48 years old! RIP.

So Vegas has the Cowboys in the Bowl against new England already. Cowboys also have the toughest schedule in the league this year.

I don't forsee a sophomore slump, but I also don't see another 13-3 either. I think we'll steal one from the Giants but they'll most likely win the division. The NFC is going to come down to the Giants/Packers/Cowboys this year, and the Giants are gaining traction.

way too early for predictions, much less which two teams are the favorites to get to the SB. OTA's are not even done yet and some NFL experts wants to discuss
the season and which teams will win and lose games. FORGET ABOUT IT!

It's never too early to have an opinion but I tend to agree.

The ESPN & NFL "experts" have already dissected and made their predictions. ESPN says 9-7, barely missing playoffs. NFL Network says 8-8. Yeah fucking right.

those blowhards have so many hours to fill that they have no choice but to talk about a season that hasn't even begun or a roster
that is not even set in stone.
the only guy at ESPN worth anything is Bill Polian. that man knows what he is talking about and has earned his solid rep.

anyway, i pay no mind to NFL network unless they are telecasting classic games. those are fun to watch.

Yes the off-season for those of us who more or less only follow football pro or college is a real drag.

Pro wrestling helps since they're manly man and have no off-season but still its not the same.

Romo, at a news conference for the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, Nev., said that during test runs for CBS with play-by-play man Jim Nantz, he was too critical. Didn’t see that coming.

“The first two games I did, actually some of my bosses there at CBS told me, ‘You know, we don’t need to be quite that harsh,’” Romo said, via ESPN. “So I think that part of it I probably have to find a fine line, because the standard for playing this game is just, it’s high.”

It’s a disappointing CBS told Romo to tone it down, because honest criticism is rare from the booth. Hopefully Romo doesn’t go a full Jon Gruden on us now and let us know for three hours a week how great everyone is. It’s really surprising that Romo would be that critical, because it seems like there’s a direct correlation between how harsh an analyst is and how many years he is removed from the game. Romo retired a few months ago to be CBS’ top NFL analyst. Plenty of the players he’ll be talking about on CBS are friends, or former teammates.

Romo needs to be harsh. He has a long of anger inside him for failing to win a SB. Let him take out that anger
on national TV. Would be refreshing!

They release a player because he was "allegedly" involved with a crime back in June in Virginia.. Come to find out the day after they release him?

who cares! Lucky was probably not going to make the team this season. He was the 5th WR and a special teams player.
Plus, he has gotten into trouble prior to this incident. The team had enough of his behavior before the case of mistaken identity.
Dallas was in a no win situation. Lucky was on his last straw.
If the team did not act fact, the public would cry that Dallas was looking the other way again.
If Dallas acted fast and released Lucky, the public would say why not wait until all the facts are gathered(which might take days or weeks).

Better to release him now, allow him the chance to catch on somewhere else and everybody goes home happy!

that narrative is so old now. there are dozens of NFL teams that have players on the roster that are
arrested or charged with crimes. most of them are guilty but every once in awhile the player
crying innocence is actually telling the truth.
that being said, we are talking about a player that was the 5th WR and a special teams player.
a player that has already been disciplined by the team(check out the story last year).
a player who claimed his dog was stolen this month and held for ransom.

after some time a marginal player, a player that might not even make the 2017 team, well
the leash is short and you cut your losses.
