It's so sad. I cried. They're playing really nice tributes to him all day on tv here. Neat old pictures of him when he was young, running bases, playing harmonica, and in parades at Bush Stadium. He was a great ambassador for the city of St. Louis most of his life. He will be missed on opening day ...

Beautiful sendoff for Stan Musial today at the fabulous Cathedral. Nobody does it better than the Catholics. Televised on all tv stations, with dignitaries and Cardinal players past and present. Bob Costas made 'em laugh and cry in his eulogy. The funeral cars stopped at the stadium where fans gathered and left flowers and memorials at the Musial Statue. And there was one lone Clydesdale there for him too. Bye Stan.
