Re: Anyone else excited for COLLEGE FOOTBALL?
Thoughts after watching the 3 games today:
1) Until Notre Dame gets in a Conference, if they go 12 - 0 on the season, they should be looked at harder for any close games they play. They have continually $h!t the bed in Bowl games for several years and continually get the benefit of the doubt...its a holdover from their glory years as well as holdover from the BCS era "Notre Dame Rule"...they were outplayed hands down today. Ohio State or Georgia either one would have put up a better Offense & Defense than what ND put out there for everyone to see.
2) Clemson is no doubt on the same level as Alabama! If you dont think so, you havent been watching this team play...they are the real deal. Dabo has paid attention to what he saw while coaching under Saban, as well as what he sees from the recruiting to training to fostering of players that Saban has laid out. Hes taken it and modified it to his needs and its working well.
3) Alabama is scary when they play football the way they have been trained to play! Their worst weakness is their tendency to get emotional after the other team has gotten emotional..and it leads to stupid penalties that lead to easy scores for the opposing team. Its been said many times his year, by many smarter football folks than me, but I agree with em...this "looks" to be the "best" all-around team Nick Saban has put together since coming to Tuscaloosa...and that in and of itself is frightening!
4) This next game January 8th will be a brutal game...dont expect any early 21 - 0 blowouts when #1 Alabama meets #2 Clemson again for the 3rd time in the National Championship. This should be a hell of a tight game...Roll Tide Roll...

Re: Anyone else excited for COLLEGE FOOTBALL?
Congrats to Spicoli-er, Trevor Lawrence and the rest of Dabo's tigers on that title win! I totally didn't expect Tua and Bama to get manhandled like they did tonight. And Saban stealing a page out of Kirby's book with the fake was a complete bonehead move for sure.

This should be BodyBagz new name. I’m gonna get to work on that and also adjust his settings to where he can’t post in this thread until a week before next season starts.

Re: Anyone else excited for COLLEGE FOOTBALL?
I was questioning my inner thoughts last night watching that straight out of Hollywood casting all american big blonde CA surfer boy Freshman QB. I was thinking this...
And then found out he was raised in Georgia instead. So then I started thinking this...
I have never been more relieved than I was last night. I remember telling myself that I could relax now everything worked out for the best after all. I screamed out as happy as I have ever been “I’m not gay I’m not gay!!!”

I fucking hate Bama that was beautiful.
ROLLED THAT TIDE! FUCK YA! Clemson turned that Alabama tampon a shade of Crimson tide with bleach couldn't get out. THEY SPANKED THAT ASS AND PUT SOME STANK ON IT!
All year about how good the best team ever and they got bitch slapped in the end, how fitting, take it and like it. You couldn't turn on a sports channel or click on a link without Alabama being plastered all over it......Orange Crushed!
Clemson Tigers 44 Alabama Crimson Tide 16
Nick Saban can suck it! The world is a better place thanks to Clemson. 15-0
Deshaun Watson approved..........Alabama Crimson Tide....It's what for dinner!
Nick Sybian.......Nice fake!

I'll bet the Bama players are even more heartbroken about the loss now that they know they could've had a room-temp value menu feast at the white house with our big-brained executive clownshoe!

Yep. I have a lot of Georgia friends who are glad the Dawgs won't have to face Bama again in the SEC title game. Though Trump was there, so it was a lose-lose game to begin with...

Of course Trump was there. He had to finally find a crowd that wouldn't boo him. if he got booed at this one, next stop was a Klan rally.

Burrow wins the Heisman, no surprise there. I expect him to win the national title as well. Kid's an absolute beast...

Re: Anyone else excited for COLLEGE FOOTBALL?
Joe Burrow won the Heisman by such big a margin that everybody expected the backup quarterback to be sent in for the last couple minutes of his acceptance speech.

Re: Anyone else excited for COLLEGE FOOTBALL?
The Sooners went down to Georgia, they were looking for a playoff to steal. They were in a bind cuz they were way behind and they were willing to make a deal
When they came up on this young man throwing a football and slinging it hot, Little Jalen jumped up on a hickory stump and said “boy let me tell you what”
“I guess you didn’t know it, but I’m a quarterbacker too And if you’d care to take a dare, I’ll make a bet with you”
“Now you throw a pretty good football boy, but give the Jalen his due... I’ll bet a trophy of gold against your soul ‘cause I think I’m better than you.”
The boy said “my name’s Burrow and it might be a sin, But I’ll take that bet and you’re gonna regret, ‘cause I’m the best that’s ever been”

They might as well engrave that trophy to LSU right now. JFC is that kid a good QB. Have fun in Cincinnati!

Re: Anyone else excited for COLLEGE FOOTBALL?
Watching the Citrus Bowl right now thinking they should rename it to which coach would you most like to see lose bowl. I guess it doesn’t roll off the tongue as easy as Citrus Bowl.
For the record I hate Nick Saban because he hasn’t been coaching the Sooners all these years instead of Alabama. I hate Jim Harbaugh because he makes it so easy.

Re: Anyone else excited for COLLEGE FOOTBALL?
Whose idea was it to take two weeks off after the first round of the playoffs?
Season ends you get around a month before your bowl game and if you’re lucky enough to play for the championship you get another two weeks before that game.
Throws everything off.

Here’s wishing a win tonight for exitflagger and most importantly the LSU Tigers.
Going back and reading the Jar Jar Binks post cracked me up again.
I had never noticed that before but I’ll be damned he sure does look like that silly fucker.
And all that militant I love Jesus shit that Dabo promotes seems like a recruiting scam to me.
If that’s what you like fine but I’m just always skeptical of the whole shout it out I love Jesus blah blah blah.
