I just noticed the Keeper option. I have never played with keepers. Are we keeping players from last years roster and if so how many can we keep?

Thought it was a mistake. We should kill that.

I've got no problem with keepers if we want to keep that option.

However I just looked at my squad from last year and it's pretty stacked...maybe I'm ok with the keeper option.

I like the idea of having one keeper.

It was set by Yahoo default. I'm not sure why it did it this year when it has not in the past. We had never discussed Keepers. If the majority want them we can discuss it. I personally don't like them in a league that auto drafts. Also if we had known at the end of the year we were doing keepers probably would have looked harder at who was injured and dropped.

That's a fair point actually. It would screw over anyone who dropped a resting player in the last week of the season.

So what are we doing with the keeper situation?

I think due to the points Demo brings up I am going to vote against keepers this year. We could talk about it for next year so people will know what to do with their rosters in August and September.

There is room to join. Give me a couple of days. I am trying to switch from keeper to regular auto-draft league and I can't figure it out. Just sent yahoo an email hoping they can help.

No longer a keeper league. All set. Have a couple of spots left. PM your email address and I will have the yahoo invite go out. I was thinking about setting the autodraft to run the Thursday before the season starts. Cuts have been made by then and we'll know who is hurt by then. Let me know if you guys want something different.

A buddy of mine just rejoined so Funnelhead will make us even again.

Random Draft Order is set. I'll probably run the auto draft next Wednesday or Thursday. Make sure to rank your players.

Got an IM from another sludger that wants in. Let me know what you guys think. Pat's King Of Steaks thinks he might have another player which would take us to an even 14. We can't draft with just 13, need an even number.

Let's hear what you think. I think if over 1/2 agree we can see if we can work it out.
