World Cup: does anyone here even care?

I guess I care enough to root for the good ol’ US of A, and barring them winning, I guess I could see France winning or Harry Kane and the Three Lions doing something to ensure that football comes home for England this year. Anyone else watching or are there even that many soccer fans here?

i'm invested. can't watch any games live though due to the times. canada hasn't been there in over 30 years so it's a pretty big deal to get our asses kicked

Argentina just lost to Saudi Arabia, pathetic performance.

England had a strong start.

France is still a good candidate but they lost several top players due to injuries.

Watching France - Australia right now, kind of meh though unless you're French. Would love to have seen the Saudis wipe the smile off those arrogant Argie faces earlier. England had a flattering start but the US team might give them problems. And of course there's USA - Iran to come.

Im American and a sports fan in general.

Love soccer/football. Also delved into Cricket and am hooked (lots of South Asians where I live in NYC so not foreign to me).

On sludge a board obsessed with the past. Not highly probably. Everyone knows footy isn't the big game in the states. But the MLS does well. Plenty have in the States.
