Sad day indeed. Was hoping it was just a hoax like 5 years ago...

He will be missed..A great guy.

I agree with all of the above...Pete was awesome, and a very important part of the Metal Scene. It's sad he's passed. We've lost a big part of what we've come to know as one of the best bands out there. RIP.

It is such a shame he wrote some amazing songs and had an incredible voice and a wicked sense of humour!
I unfortunately never got a chance to meet him but i hear he was a really cool guy.

Peter was a sweet and entertaining man. Always courteous and charming. I hung out with them several times over many years and can't find one bad thing to say about him...besides the obvious...which I am afraid will end up being the reason that killed him. Not sure if he was still using or not...but I think the damage was done.
I am sad he went so young...but I think he may have been ready.
this party's too wild for me, baby...as soon as I find my panties, I'm outta here!

Yea i hear he got clean but you never really know and like you say the damage has been done. I dont think he would want people to be sad though, he would most likely joke that he had finally died or something.

Right after I watched a GG Allin special on Jerry Springer (Ala Youtube) I saw this, such a contrast!

In the paper, seems a florist
Found in Lincoln Park, died of some anemia
No one raped her, poor Doloris,
Just detained her and drained her on the spot

I had the pleasure of meeting Peter several times. He was sweet, kind, and wicked funny. Breaks my heart he's gone so soon. He will be missed.

I hung around Type O guys quite a bit because of my ex-friend who slept with Pete for years... going way back to Carnivore days. Their "relationship" didn't end very pretty so I didn't expect him to be happy to see me at one of the festivals they played a few years back, but he was wonderfully cordial and as funny as ever... I've always found him extremely charming and gentle. He was very flirtatious that day, but his looks were WAY gone by then (smack in the middle of his coke & alcohol years) so... too bad I never got to ride on that legendary cock!
