He's super friendly to people he thinks are not fans, too. He lives between New York and Berlin (that's what he said) and I think his relationship is open.

I got a PM from a friend that said she ran into him at the Kerrang awards party a few days ago "but he left with someone else - guess he thought they were easier."

Off-subject, did they say what the Kerrang awards were like? I watched some videos but it just seems like they got a load of pre-announced winners into the Kerrang office in London and said "Here's your award. We'll film an interview and you can fuck off back to the bar."

That's at least how the K! Podcast portrayed it on YouTube... annoying chubby bespectacled bloke in a stylish office building in London, saying "OK, to finish the awards we will present the influence award (or maybe achievement award?) to Motley Crue. Here is Vince Neil now."

Looks like it was at the same place it was at last year..the brewery in east london. Think the interviews were don in the corridor outside the main room. Don't know what the actual awards are like but I was at the afterparty last year. It's not the most exciting event i've ever been to as I don't rate the bands that Kerrang gives attention to very highly. Best thing about it is the free bar.

I don't know where the awards thwemselves were but the afterparty this year was at the relentless garage - it was sponsored by relentless and they sent me an e-mail to enter a draw for tickets. Didn't get any though.

Ah, yeah the podcast was in the corridor. Was at my nan's today watching Sky TV (she has it, I don't) and the coverage was on K!TV. Looked like a realtively calm, 'start to the evening'-type vibe for the bands, and was real important to those related to Kerrang. They went through each award, looked low-budget. Corey and Scott presented it again, Corey even wearing the same stupid costume and bright socks.

Padge from BFMV was so pissed by their first award, Matt was physically holding him upright and had to point where the audience was because he was stood facing the opposite direction and inspecting the backdrop. He was passed-out at their table on the 2nd award so the other 3 went up for it.
