The Mist 7/10 -
Never read the short story, but it was a bit different than I was expecting. Got kinda cheesy in the middle with the CGI "monsters", but the ending made up for it.
Monty Python And The Holy Grail 10/10-
What can I say, a true classic.

I will give Watchmen 3 out of 10. It was an hour too long.BD888 wrote:Watchman - 8/10
I didn't know anything about this film, other than some on this thread said it was good. So I watched it, and other than the slightly confusing plot, I thought the it was excellent.

I actually just saw this moving this past weekend and thought it was pretty funny. Not saying it's wonderful, but definitely not complete shit. I'd give it 5/10.Kockstar wrote:"The Goods"
Complete Shit. Save your money.
Before that I saw "Funny People" and didn't hardly crack a smile the whole time. I give that one 3/10.

Decent cast. Decent acting. Some good kills.
And Francis Wolcott from Deadwood was the bad guy ... cool.

The Beatles, Hard Day's Night.
7/10
Great tunes, great to see the guys running around and having fun. Only downers are that there's not all that much plot, and that I had trouble understanding some of the accents some of the time.

My Sister's Keeper..
Umm.. well.. it wasn't what I expected.. it was actually a bit disturbing in a weird way.
If you don't have to have blood and guts to enjoy a movie, check it out..
G.I.JOE Rise of the Cobra
I think I missed something in this movie.. cause.. well.. I didn't get it.
Possibly a film for G.I.Joe fans.. (??)
District 9
I was so disappointed in this flick I can't even begin to describe it.
Cheap looking Psuedo-Docu-Drama B.S...
They make the aliens very 1950's horror movie like.. and somehow, the movie seems almost racist.
The aliens are smart enough to travel millions of miles with technology we can't understand, but they are animalistic thugs?
I couldn't figure out if the main character was suppose to be funny, or just plain stupid. Either way, it didn't work.

"GRACE"
If you were a fan of Tales from the Crypt or Tales from the Darkside, you'll LOVE this flick.. it calls into question just how strong the motherly instinct is.. and it's not as predictable as you will think at the beginning.
See it..
"Last Resort"
Umm.. bleh..
yeah.. that about describes it..
"Funny People"..
not so funny...

I Love You, Man- 7.5/10. Saw it in the theatre and liked it a little better the second time around. Segel was hysterical, and there was some good writing in there.

Conan the Barbarian 8/10
So great!! My husband came back from his weekly trip to Best Buy and that was my surprise. It was a double cheapy DVD with Conan the Destroyer which is a complete pile of steaming corn-filled shit. God! What a let down that was the first time I saw it.
Anyway...Conan the B.....a great mid 80's fantasy film. Arnold in all of his body building flaccidity is still pretty damn hot.

I remember thinking it sucked. Wasn't that kind of a spin off of Conan too? It was bad.BD888 wrote:What do you think of Red Sonja?lolo66 wrote:Conan the Barbarian 8/10

I am surprised we never got King Conan.

The Hangover: 9 sodomized tigers out of 10. The movie itself was hysterical and the credits were even better. I may even get off my lazy ass and go see it again.
