Human Centipede 2 - 0/10. Complete and total horseshit...and not just because it's gross. It's horseshit because it's a very, very bad film in every conceivable way, from the "writing" to special effects to the sound editing.


Alien (Director's cut) - 9/10. Still stands up very well. Fingers crossed for Prometheus.


Cruising - 4/10. I didn't "get" this movie at all, but I beat off at least seven times. So there's that.

Young Adult - 5/10 Even with a hot Charlize Theron, it takes Patton Oswalt to save what can be saved.

Ides of March - 9/10 Ryan Gosling is actually a decent actor, IMO.

Titanic 3D ~ I was all 'watevs' about this film but went with some friends anyway. Apparantly, they had to 3D-ify it frame by frame which must've taken a hell of a long time. It's actually ok - the 3D, that is. Not a complete waste of time. 7/10.

The Hunger Games ~ I don't know what the reception has been like for this film stateside, but over here, it's been given a bit of a bad rap, with most people saying it's too gory for the 12A rating that it's been given. I don't think so at all. Saw this with my 12 year old niece and I really can't see what the fuss is about. It's ok. It's been really hyped up - I didn't think it was that amazing though. Another 7/10.

Main reason I watched was to see Al Pacino. His role was limited.
Ray Liotta did nothing new with his role as a Police Captain.
Was fun to see Katie Holmes drop several "f bombs".

Makes me wonder why films like these are even made???
