Godzilla (2014): 7/10
I'm not even sure if this movie was good or not, but we watched it in 3D on our sexy new TV with high tech glasses and that was awesome!

The one I started the thread about. A 65" Samsung 4K UHD HU9000. No glare issues at all and it's sweet! I got the curved sound bar with it too and it sounds crazy awesome.

The Hustler (1961) starring Paul Newman, Jackie Gleeson, and George C. Scott.

8.5 out of 10. Great movie and very ahead of its time.

Foxcatcher - 8/10. Great movie, but needed a bit more backstory regarding the brothers before Dupont came along.

The Challenger Disaster - 7/10. Made for BBC TV? Decent glimpse into the investigation of the explosion. William Hurt gives a very solid performance.

Night at the Museum 1 - 7/10. Hate Stiller, but this movie was fun enough.
Night at the Museum 2 - 3/10. Why.

I guess from the rating here Gone Girl gets better? I turned it off before the halfway mark, when they showed (spoiler) that she had run off on her own. I had already guessed that to be the case, when it came true I was done.

Night At The Museum 2 - 6 / 10.

It was a decent little movie. Nothing super special but I think I liked it more because my daughter giggled through the whole thing. And I would go Rikstik on Rebel Wilson just because she's hilarious. "I'm that girl that could be a model... if I didn't love pizza so much!"

(spoiler...???)
And gotta admit... it's was hard not to choke back a tear in the scene where Robin Williams says goodbye. Ouch.

Anchorman 2.

I made it about 30 mins in.

Horrible piece of shit. Everything that made the first movie funny was gone.

2/10.

Alright western. The rest of the cast was annoying, though.

Heres a few...

The Interview - James Franco, Seth Rogan - ** out of *****
Not entirely bad, slightly amusing in parts. Granco was over the top to the point of actually ruining several bits in the film.

The Judge - Robert Duvall, Robert Downey Jr, Vincent D'Onofrio and Billy Bob Thornton - ***1/2 out of *****
Great film, Duvall stole the show, but what do you expect from this man...he seems to do it quite a lot in the films he`s in. Downey just comes off as Tony Stark in a small town...he may have that stigmata on him for a while as he is still doing the Iron Man and Avengers role. D'Onofrio and Thornton pull off their roles well as can be expected...there was no real heavy lifting involved for either of them as far as the script goes.

A Walk Among the Tombstones - Liam Neeson - *** out of *****
Basically a run of the mill "shoot `em up"...drunk cop turns into PI, gets hired by drug lords to find kidnappers/murderers. Its a good film to kill 90 minutes when nothing else is on.
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." - George Washington

"Selma" - 9/10

Incredibly well-made. Very tense and moving. The director made another movie which I saw called "Middle of Nowhere" which is very good, too, and also features David Oyelowo. I recommend both.

The Babadook.

It's been mentioned by a few of you on here. I fucking loved it.

How good is the kid in it?? Usually child actors are bloody atrocious but this kid was a real gem. One of the best.

I'd put this movie down as my favourite horror movie of the last few years.

Same here, I couldn't care less about car racing, but this movie was all kinds of awesome. Two guys that are polar opposites but respect the hell out of each other. The scene where Hemsworth beats the shit out of the deusch bag reporter was great.

Frantic (1988) - 7/10. Not a big fan of thrillers but Polanski is always watchable, then there's Harrison Ford and... who am I kidding, all that matters is Emmanuelle Seigner is hot in it.

The Walker
(2007) - 5/10. Woody Harrelson and Moritz Bleibtreu as a fag couple was kinda entertaining, but I didn't follow the the plot or anything. Lauren Bacall has seen better days. She really let herself go over the last 200 years. For shame!
