Captain America - The Winter Soldier - 2/10
I keep hearing how great this movie is and how it's more of a spy thriller than a superhero movie. It might be a spy movie, but it's a spy movie for fucking idiots. The dialogue is beyond retarded and the script is ridiculous.

I'm fairly new to Ingmar Bergman and this one didn't particular interest me before, but when I caught it on TV I had to watch it all the way through, and it's seriously long as fuck. Amazing acting by everybody involved, which is basically just two people. Liv Ullmann is semi-hot in it, probably used to be a knockout. I shall investigate further.
Si tu meurs, je te tue (2011) - 7/10.
French comedic indy drama dealing with immigrant culture in Paris. Golshifteh Farahani is awesome in it. As in hot.

Local flick - comedy horror/splatter. Basically if Bad Taste or Braindead had a little more plot and were homages to 80s metal horrors. Some very inside/metal and nerd jokes that might not go over as well with a mainstream audience (this was a film fest crowd that included most of the local metal scene), but I'll wager plenty of people on here will dig it.
"M" - 10/10. Peter Lorre was an amazing actor, and I found it interesting that the mob and the beggers were working together to catch the child murderer.

Vicki Christina Barcelona 8/10
Have been watching a few Woody Allen movies of late and this one
was highly recommended.
Javier Bardem and Scarlett delivered great performances. Same goes
for Penelope Cruz. Never was a fan of her but she delivered as the crazy
ex wife.
Going to seek out more Woody Allen films to watch. The same friend
told me I need to see Manhattan. Hope its available in Blu Ray
Little Girl That Lives Down The Lane - perfect semi thriller, in a complete creepy sense. Martin Sheen is excellent as the POS pedo and Jodie Foster is even better as the too smart for her age pseudo jailbait. Forgot just how great this flick was after many years - 8/10
Manhattan(1979)
8.5/10
Continuing my theme with the Woody Allen films. This came highly recommended and the film was very good.
The angle where Woody is dating a 17 yr old is either very disgusting or Woody was foreshadowing his very own future.
The black n white choice was very smart. Gave the movie a feel or style that was very early 50's era
April Love (1957) - 6/10. Painfully idyllic bullshit love story with an even lamer horse racing backdrop. The musical numbers are awful and Pat Boone is a shitty actor, but somehow I liked this. Shirley Jones is dreamy.
More (1969) - 7/10. Cheap dropout flick about a German square going after this hippie chick. He gets her, discovers junk, dies. No plot, no morale, no entertainment. Pretty good.
Le temps du loup / Time of the Wolf (2003) - 8/10.
Michael Haneke's take on the post-apocalypse flick. One of the best. I've seen it compared to The Road but it's way better, darker, realer. Isabelle Huppert is amazing, though not exactly hot in this, due to the role's general hobo nature.
Camille Claudel 1915 (2013) - 7/10.
I don't really know the historical facts about the artist's institutionalization and mental health, but this is one depressing and awkward movie. Juliette Binoche kills it.
Midnight In Paris-8/10
Continuing my recent trend of watching Woody Allen movies. The opening montage of Paris set the tone for this brilliant and fun movie.
Owen Wilson was perfectly cast. Rachel McAdams is just beautiful
Nice to see that there are people in the industry that are good people.
Great stories about Alice Cooper and many more.
Streaming on Netflix.
Super Mensch is AMAZING.
I saw Vacation 2015 last night. Awful. 2 dick jokes and the plot all within 8 minutes. SO predictable and I literally didn't laugh once. Some highly left wing material as well. They attempted a cheap pop in the end of the Chevy/Beverly scene. Forced as fuck. How this script got greenlit boggles my mind.
