Nelly & Monsieur Arnaud (1995) - 6/10. Emmanuelle Béart is still pretty much in her prime, the perfect balance of hot and adorable. The movie is not too bad either.

Voyance et manigance / Fortune Tellers and Misfortune (2001) - 3/10. Fucking awful attempt at comedy, and Béart is not quite hot enough anymore to carry that much shit by herself.

Do you prefer her blonde or brunette? She looks good as both, but we all have our preferences.

We Are What We Are (2013) - 7/10.

Really weird sort of horror film about a religious zealot hillbilly family who are also cannibals, but all posh and stoic and nothing like TCM. Slow as hell but the ending kicks all kinds of ass. I believe it's actually a remake of a Mexican movie, so maybe I should check that out.

I prefer her in La belle noiseuse. I believe she was brunette there, where it counts.

Hitman: Agent 47 (2015)

It was ok. Good action, confusing plot. Based on a video game apparently. It's like a mix of Terminator, The Matrix and latter Fast and Furious movies. 5/10.

"John Wick". one good scene where he blows about a thousand people away while navigating his way through a nightclub/spa/restaurant.

then the movie goes on with lesser versions of the same scene for another hour. Almost zero story.

Theon Greyjoy is present. Doesn't save the film.

2 Stars of 5.

Vacation (2015)

4/10

I really, really, really wanted to like this as the first 2 Vacation movies are 2 of my all time fav's but this was just terrible Ed Helms was especially bad and the fucking swearing, fuck me, fuck, to me Vacation should be a movie that you can sit and watch with the family and not have to worry too much about excessive language (when clark loses the plot in the first movie and swears, its funny, but when the whole movie is like that I might as well watch a Samuel L Jackson movie) and the kids were just revolting, the story could have been so much better including the final Wally World fight, why didn't they all get arrested and have Roy Wally's son come out and ask their names and once he heard the Griswald name he could have said oh my dad told me all about your family or something by trying to not make it like the original they failed miserably, there were some funny moments, just not enough to save it

Two from NetFlix you must watch!

Cowspiracy 10/10 Perfect documentary about the horrors of agriculture and its direct link to global warming. As I've been saying for ages, if you want to save the planet, gotta become a vegan. And this movie is definitive proof.

Crazy Love 10/10 Another perfect documentary about a beautiful Jewish girl from the Bronx and her deranged stalker boyfriend who eventually hires someone to throw acid in her face. Trust me, there is a lot more to the story, but I don't want to reveal too much, but that's just one part of it. The movie clocks in at almost two hours, and you will find every second of it mesmerizing.

Black Mass 7.5/10

Johnny Depp was great in it and really nailed the part. The story was slow though and focused more on the FBI. The performances were what carried the movie. Joel Edgerton did a pretty good job as well. The movie also had kind of a dark, cold feel which worked well. But overall it could have been more.

She probably wasn't actually a whore. I just don't like her and I don't see the appeal. She's supposed to be a wholesome, girl next door, but she just comes off as whoreish to me.

4 mosche di velluto grigio / Four Flies on Grey Velvet - 7/10.

I'm no Argento fan boy, but I don't get why this is considered his worst giallo by many. I actually like this better than Tenebre, maybe even Deep Red. Francine Racette and Mimsy Farmer are hot in it, and it's got motherfucking Bud Spencer.

Believe (2000) - 4/10.

This is more of an annoying kids movie than the horror film I expected, but teen Elisha Cuthbert was already hot enough to ignore, well, everything terrible around it.

Dracula Untold 5/10 - Didn't hate it but was disappointed and wouldn't recommend it. I Liked the cast and it looked good but they could have done so much more with the story. The movie was totally rushed and came off like a low budget flick. A short film crammed in at 90minutes, another 20 to build up some characters and scenes too add drama depth to a hollow story would have helped.

Looks like it's going to get a sequel with talk of a franchise.
