Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - 6. An alright movie with talking monkeys. Very predictable.

Kingsman -9. the trailer made this look like shit, and I've seen enough scallies to last a life time. But this was damn good.

Amy Smart should have received an Oscar nomination.

Hot Pursuit - 3/10 - I wanted to choke Witherspoon's character. I wasn't in the mood to suffer through it so I'll have to try another time.

Tomorrowland - 5/10 - Not sure how to really rate this flick. Good for 12 and under or if you're in a Disney mood. The cast worked well, it had it's moments. On the level of Zathura: A Space Adventure.
It must be Britt Robertson's movie channel month, she's popping up everywhere, even the bit part in Delivery Man.

See there just some movies I wont touch just by reading the story line. This would be one of them. Thanks for the heads up.

Spectre - 5/10

Nowhere near as good as Skyfall. It was way too long. Way too much in the way of slow plodding plot. Craig kinda phoned it in. Very disappointed.

I'm a huge Spike Lee fan. I believe he is a great filmmaker, but unlike his peer, Tarantino, Spike is trending downward. Spike might have to stick with docs about Michael Jackson for the rest of his life

La jetée (1962) - 7/10:
Super cult short movie that was completely ripped off for Twelve Monkeys. I don't think I got everything, though. For example little things like why it's only still pictures and narration, i.e. the whole thing.

Pi (1998) - 7/10:
A bit contrived and I thought it would focus more on highbrow math stuff when in fact it felt more like a weak Eraserhead.

Violette Nozière (1978) - 6/10:
Pretty forgettable though well acted Chabrol movie with Isabelle Huppert and Stéphane Audran.

One of the best comedies in the last 10 years or so.
Paul Rudd was great. The writing was the best and the kid that could double
for Tom Petty took a vicious verbal beating at the hands of an adult

Say Anything (1989) John Cusack

Not was i was expecting at all, i would have bet the house that the boombox scene was the end of movie with the girl coming out of the house to join him, i mean they made out that scene to be iconic and it was nothing special, not a bad movie but far from a classic 7/10

Finally, watched 'Maximum Overdrive'. Cool premise, terrible execution. Stephen King must have been coked out of his mind, while directing this film.

Diary of a Madman (1963) Vincent Price. 5/10 Not a good movie. Could barely stay awake watching this one and I love old Vincent Price movies. Seems like they ran out of budget at the end and suddenly just wrapped the whole picture in the last 5 minutes. The voice of the Horla was just retarded.

One Million Years BC (1966) Raquel Welch. 6/10 movie 9/10 for FX and Raquel. Corny throughtout. Great Harryhausen FX, and holy shit was Raquel Welch just a stunning beauty. What a body! The wife got nailed hard that night lol

The Count of Monte Cristo (1975) Richard Chamberlain. For me it's a 7/10 but that's mostly because of the chilhood nostalgia factor I have for this flic (hidden tresure, prison escape, revenge on enemies). Overall it feels like a made for tv movie, and good god was Chamberlain thin. Wanted to see his version of the man in the iron mask but its nowhere to be found - so - this sufficed well as a backup movie.
fuck off, kid. I have ticket stubs older than you.

Martyrs (2016): If you ask me, the original is the best horror movie of the 21st century. I think it's phenomenal. This remake is a disgrace. Unreal how they disemboweled everything great about its source material.

1.5 stars (One star for sucking + half a star for being mercifully only 86 minutes.)

The End of the Tour (2015) - 7/10:
I don't even like David Foster Wallace very much, but this was rather well done. Most of all, it makes him look like the boring, nerdy douche he actually was, instead of the tragic genius drug fiend philosopher other nerdy douches make him out to be. Then again, I don't really know how the real DFW talked and stuff, so maybe Jason Segel was actually shit. Seemed good, though.

Chappie (2015) - 7/10:
Better than Elysium, still nothing compared to District 9. I thought Die Antwoord were actually pretty good in this.

Into the Woods (2014) - 2/10:
One of the worst "great cast" movies ever, hands down worst musical score I can remember.

Taken (2008) Liam Neeson kicking ass trying to get his daughter back 8/10 Femke Jensen was also in it.

Furious Seven (2015) The whole gang was back+jason statham , so far fetched it could be a sci fi movie waited the whole movie for Paul walker's caracter to died, not as good as the previous one 7/10

Insidious Chapter 3 (2015) Dermot Mulroney ,same old same old 6/10

Unfinished Business. 7/10.

Possibly the most funny "work movie" since Office Space. Vince Vaughn gives his most funny performance ever. Dave Franco is awesome as Mike Pancake. And Sienna Miller is very easy on the eyes.

Seriously, just watch it. The Glory Hole scene was worth the price of admission alone. Good times.
