Looks like Trump and his legal team just got fucked on this special master situation. The special master they put on their list which the DOJ agreed to is an honest judge who happens to be a Republican, and Trump's team miscalculated in thinking he would just roll over like the others. Whether it's in a filing or under oath in a trial, Trump and his lawyers will to have find a way to dance around the fact that he did not declassify those documents. It's either the truth, which fucks them, or perjury, which fucks them.

I like the theory that Cruz or Lindsay G. recommended Dearie and this is there way of fucking Trump over. What I'm afraid of, though, is that the master plan is for Dearie to come out and play hardball against Trump to gain trust and credibility, however ultimately favor towards Trump so that it's not so obvious.

They might try to spin that on Fox News or NewsMax but they won't dare say that in court. Trump may have said that to Sean Hannity but he won't dare say that in court either.

It astounds me that these outside lawyers with nothing to tether them to Trump and who are likely to get stiffed on money would ruin their entire professional reputations for this man.

So this judge Cannon had to stick her neck in again and try to override the special master that Trump and the DOJ handpicked. This was her ruling in the first place. She's clearly all in for Trump, trying to eliminate as many thorny obstacles as she can, but what is she really accomplishing other than bringing her closer to impeachment from the bench?

She's not going to win this battle with the DOJ. The DOJ is filled with top professionals and she's barely qualified. The court system is not going to aid her in her quest.

So this is Trump's latest defense, which comes from his rape accusation trial (which he'd be proven innocent if he provided DNA). So he's admitting that being caught in a lie will diminish the trust with the American people, so it's in the country's best interest for him not to respond to questions. The fuck?

He can't possibly run a national campaign. He might beat trump in the primaries, but he will split the party, and the Democratic candidate will win again.

And if DeSatan does win, Trump will go 3rd party. Count on it.

Around here in rural northeast GA, I'd say the GOP primary is going to come down to whomever thumps their bible the hardest at the rest of America. Right now, white redneck conservative evangelicals still largely worship the ground Donnie walks on, but if DeSantis can thump his bible and pander to the evangelicals a bit harder than Trump, he might have a shot here. As for me, I'm sticking with the Dems or the Libertarian candidate until the GOP can come up with someone who isn't a raging white Christian nationalist idiot who wants to demonize LGBTQ people, coddle racists, and force women to give birth.
