Unless you're a guy chubbing on Alba, or desperate for another Lohan tit shot, that movie made no fucking sense whatsoever.... And I hate when that happens at the Drive-in because there's only one option to get away from the movie.

Only good movies at the Drive-ins now.

Heaven Can Wait - 7/10

The old one with Don Ameche. Not exactly art cinema, but pretty amusing with lots of charming characters, one of which is played by Gene Tiernay who is insanely gorgeous.

One of my all time favourites. She's great in Laura.

I just watched that also. Not a huge fan of The Doors but I enjoyed the doc. Worth watching...7/10

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
I'd say 7/10. It was good, but parts of it dragged, and a lot of it was just way too hard to believe or didn't make sense. Some really cool visuals, though. The way they slip through the dreams is really beautifully done.

Also, Jim Carrey with facial hair is kind of sexy.

WTF was up with them smothering each other with a pillow for fun though?

Poetry 9/10

It's a South Korean movie about an old lady dealing with all sorts of shit, from Alzheimer's to her grandson's stupidity; either way, she's fucked. So basically, it's a film about people getting fucked, and she finds solace in seeking 'poetic inspiration' for that one poem she desires to write.

It gets perfectly dramatic without smelling like a pussy.

Limitless - 6/10. Nothing special - which reminds me - has Robert Deniro been in any good films lately?

Submarine - 7.5/10. Noah Taylor stands out in this. It kinda looks like Richard Ayoade has tried a little too hard to make it 'indie'; there's a lot of quiet moments of nothing much happening. Still, I'd prefer this over the action films that're out now.

Insidious -9/10...
It's hard nowadays for anyone to make a completely original horror film, and Insidious is far from original, lifting heavily from Poltergeist and a little of The Changeling, but James Wan made a fucking awesome throwback to those days of horror. The camera work is top notch, the score is perfect, and it's just an all around fun film.

No. And he's going to keep churning this shit out we need to start taking Oscars away from people. Same goes for all the old guys just cashing checks. Pacino. Jack. Nick Cage should have lost his 23 movies ago.

Insidious 6.5/10:
I thought it was a better than average horror movie that had some good stuff going from it at the start, but once the ghostbusters showed up, it went downhill fast and just became another Poltergeist knock-off. Last good horror movie that surprised me was Last Exorcism, which I gave 7.r stars to.

Limitless 7/10
If anything else it was different.

Same here, but I thought the scenes in the "further" were really well done. Overall I think there were parts that were terrible, and some parts that were excellent, occasionally in the same scene.

Though the end felt a little too much like Wes Craven's New Nightmare.

The Other Guys. 7 out of 10. It was kind of corny and stupid, but I still thought it was funny. Will Ferrell was great in it.

Forgettable. I kept thinking of Deja Vu and Minority Report. Only scores that high because I dig Vera Farmiga.

Watchmen - 6/10

Only superhero comic flick I've seen that doesn't completely suck. It's still pretty silly, though, and Carla Cugino isn't in there enough getting raped.

Dead Man. A 1995 Jim Jarmusch film. Not sure how I missed this one. Perhaps I was preoccupied with college in 1995 8) . At any rate, Robert Mitchum's last role ever, and Johnny Depp before he exploded (although he was already pretty big) playing a Cleveland native in the Old West. Written and directed by a Cuyahoga Falls native. Nice cameos from Billy Bob Thornton and Iggy Pop among others. Why didn't I already own this?? Not great, but certainly not bad.

See, I thought the "Further" part was too much Poltergeist101. During that scene, all that was missing was Tangina screaming "Go into the light?"
"I thought you said stay away from the light."
"There is peace and comfort in the light."
"WTF?"

They should have built up the tension during the scene with the little brother getting creeped out by his big brother at night, prompting him to close the door. I would have went back and forth with that scene a little more.
