Trainwreck (2015) - 5/10:
I like Amy Schumer, but this wasn't very funny and went nowhere. Weirdly, the best part was with John Cena.
Fun with Dick and Jane (1977) - 5/10:
Don't really like George Segal, and even Hanoi Jane couldn't make it interesting. Don't even want to imagine how shitty the remake must be.
Never Steal Anything Small (1959) - 5/10:
Thought it was a musical, but there's barely any songs. Shirley Jones was at least hot in it.

San Andreas
1/10
Did not complete the film. I fast forwarded after 45 minutes. Highlight was deleting the movie from my DVR.
HORRIBLE!
Shame on you Giamatti

Watchmen - 8.
3rd time watching and still really like it. Always upsets me when Rorschach dies at the end.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
This was pretty strange but I watched Pieces (1982) off of Netflix but it had to be some huge mistake cause it was a modern day ( Alamo Draft House?) type of audience shit, where you could hear all the comments and laughter (at completely unintentionally funny parts of the movie) during the entire film. And I gotta say it was a lot more entertaining than when I saw it in the theater as a way too young kid.
Original cut - 5/10

Traitement de choc / Shock Treatment (1973) - 4/10:
Alain Delon is a doctor/cult leader trying to rejuvenate a bunch of naked hippies. Nice to look at but nothing makes any sense. I'm not even sure if they're supposed to be vampires or something.
The Human Stain (2003) - 5/10:
Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris are driven crazy by a cunty Nicole Kidman. Oh yeah, and Hopkins is really black. Pretty forced and heavy but still a bit dull.
Savage Love (2012) - 3/10:
Another trashy gorefest by Olaf Ittenbach, but the production and acting is so terrible I could barely watch it. The main actor is French but trying to speak German, which he obviously doesn't understand a word of. No idea how that's necessary in an indy movie where all actors suck to begin with. Terrible idea.
Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best (2011) - 4/10:
Shitty indy movie about two loser musicians going on tour with their shitty indy act. The music is fucking revolting. Most generic indy trash anybody could improvise, yet everybody is somehow blown away by this shit, including super hot Arielle Kebbel, the only reason to watch this.

Do you ever check out this thread looking for film suggestions, and do you like it when people tell you who dies at the end?
You're either a glutton for punishment or just happen to be terribly unlucky picking movies.SebastianLeeDanzig wrote:Traitement de choc / Shock Treatment (1973) - 4/10:

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Anyways...
Phoenix 2014 -7/10
German flick set after the big war.
Now here's this jew broad who survives Auschwitz, with her face all fubar'd and shit, until a surgeon gives her a facial.
Her husband thinks she's turned into soap and doesn't recognize her after the facial, so the woman is trying to find out if he betrayed her (he wasn't a jew).
What we do in the shadows (2014)
Wasn't feeling it, so I haven't finished it. But I also can't say it's bad, I think some folks will like it. Just not my thing.

Watchmen was released several years ago! If it is brand new film that has just been released, sure I won't give spoilers.

Europa (1991) - 8/10:
Earliest Lars von Trier movie I've seen. Kind of impressive in its artsiness. It's actually one of the least contrived Nazi movies I've ever come across. Good shit. The Nazi accusations against him are even more absurd when you've seen this.
Blood Runs Cold (2011) - 3/10:
Okay, I'm done with Swedish underground gore. I've tried three movies and they just get shittier. This one at least had English speakers you could understand and the lead showed her tits. That's about all the positive I can come up with.
We Are the Night / Wir sind die Nacht (2010) - 6/10:
Not bad for a German feminist vampire flick, which are already three very good reasons to totally suck. The lead chicks are all plain to fugly and the music is atrocious, but there's nice settings all over Berlin.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Watched 3 movies this weekend.
"Green Inferno" - 6/10 - tree huggers trek to the Amazon to save it from some destruction.
Things get a little weird when their plane goes down on the return trip and they are taken captive by a tribe of hungry cannibals.
My wife hated it. It kept me entertained.
"The Last Witch Hunter"- ?/10 - I turned it off about 35 minutes in and tried to finish it twice with no luck.
"Room" - 9/10 - loved it. Woman held captive for 7 yrs has a child from being repeatedly raped by her capture.
I won't go into too much.
Go rent it.

Proclaims footage from the first film is real, goes back into building where everything happend and wonders how and why the same shit is happening. Brilliant storyline.

The Road To Perdition
4/10
Not even the great Tom Hanks could save this film. Subpar is being nice. For a gangster movie, the film and writing and acting failed on many levels. Maybe it was the era the story took
place or the poor casting. Now I have to watch Goodfellas, in order to get this film out of my memory

Which reminds me...saw "Tooken", really cornball take on the Neeson "skill set". Pretty cornball even for a parody film, but I give it a 4 just for the title.GreatWhiteSnake wrote:Slummed it a bit Saturday night with a Liam Neeson thriller A Walk Through the Tombstones. The Big Short 8.5/10.
Probably the best movie of 2015 along with The Revenant IMO. Every character was great, awesome metal soundtrack, and shines a light on the whole financial collapse which is a story that needs to be told and revisited.
