Ghost Rider. 10/10 for being the movie I would have killed for to see it when I was 13 :D

The beginning of "Gretchen"- I started watching, until it got to the part with the homely looking chick introducing her mother to the guy with the holy-mother-of-guts...and I turned it off. The description on the guide said, "A socially inept girl falls for the school rebel"...thinking it was something I'd fancy, I turned it on...but was completely disgusted. I'm just deep like that. 0/10.

"Beowolf"- For a computer generated/animated movie, I actually enjoyed it. About the only thing I didn't like was the constant screaming (about 5 minute intervals)...and the really disappointing, "Here it goes again!" ending. I'm giving it a 6/10.

"Hounddog"- Oh, that was depressing. She never met Elvis. 5/10

Bruno - 2/5 - It was funny in a few places, it was really dumb from beginning to end, and it was really gay.
Smoked a ffffffucking great Blue Dream x G13 bubble hash gram I got for $10 though.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I give it 8/10.

I've seen it a few times, it's always on HBO when I'm bored and laying in bed. I think it's pretty fucking funny. Which is saying something because some of the Superbad characters are in it. I thought Superbad was about as funny as an Adam Sandler movie.

Night Shift - Henry Winkler, Michael Keaton, and Shelley Long. Good old 80's film making. 5/10, with one point added in for a young Shannen Doherty.

Zodiac - 8.5/10: Fantastic film. For a 2 1/2 hour movie... it really kept me interested. The whole Zodiac case in general is interesting to me and it's crazy how close they were to having an actual suspect but the handwriting analysis disqualified the guy.

Not sure how this slipped past my radar, but I learned that
CHE PART 1 & 2 w/Benicio is only available at BLOCKBUSTER.

I've had Part 1 for months, courtesy of someone who was able to score that dvd, but I've been waiting and waiting for Part 2.

Blockbuster will see me this evening. Must rent Part 2

American Me: This movie was pretty gross. I guess it's a gang movie, but really more of a prison movie. Lots of buttraping and fighting. Gets boring after awhile, but overall, it's a good movie.

Following Sean: Documentary about this little kid who was interviewed in the 1960's, when he was just 4 years old. He lived with his hippie parents on Haight Ashbury (spelling?) and talked about smoking "grass", and wandering the streets with no shoes on, stuff like that. The filmmaker goes back and visits his parents now and his sister, as well as Sean himself. It's pretty good, but when the streaming was interupted 2/3 of the way through the movie, I didn't really care so I guess it was not really so compelling after awhile.

John Waters, This Filthy World: Spoken word performance, totally hilarious, a lot of the material I've seen in his books, but still, very funny and worth the time.

That's scary. I bet EJO was freaking out at the time. In a fucked up way, I can see their point. I mean, the Italian Mafia got to look more badass from movies like the Godfather and Goodfellas, and the Mexican Mafia end up looking like a bunch of buttraping illiterates.

Gothika - Did Halle Berry get a nose job since this flick? 5/10 stars, but it lost a star for having a Limp Biskit video as a "special" feature. Maybe it was special in a short bus kind of way. I couldn't believe Halle being married to that big fat guy, either. Robert Downey reading his lines off the back of his paycheck... actually, fuck this movie. 2 stars.

Ghost Rider - Fuck, I liked this movie. 7/10 stars. The Bluray looks awesome. The CGI is nice, too. This makes 2 Cage movies I liked, the other being Face/Off, which I need to watch again. I love Travolta as a bad guy. I got the new Pelham movie today, but didn't have time to watch it yet.

Law Abiding Citizen: 7.5/10. Loved the first 2/3 of it. The ending was a little predictable but I found it highly entertaining. Parts of it reminded me of Silence of the Lambs.

GI Joe - 7/10: Grew up on the toys & the cartoon and I don't care that the movie wasn't EXACTLY like them, I still liked it. Really anxious to see where they take it in the sequel. Can't wait to see more of Cobra Commander too.

Paranormal Activity - 6 1/2 out of 10 stars. It didn't live up to the hype but was a cool little low budget flick.
