I loved the first hour. By hour 2, it got WAY too fucking meta and I think it could have ended about a half hour before it did. What was at first charming became exhausting.

I'm not a big Charlie Kaufman fan but I think this is his best work yet.
Yeah, I'm neither here nor there about Kaufman, but the charm for this one wore off really early for me. I like P.S. Hoffman a lot, but this in this role it was kind of like every depressing role he's ever had turned up to 11.

Hahaha, dead on.

I thought it was awkwardly funny at first. Then it became this existential nightmare world where everyone had someone playing them and those actors had people playing THEM and ugh, enough already. It was a cute idea but by the end, it was total fucking overkill.

Mean Creek. i'd give it a 3 1/2 out of 5. kinda predictable but not a bad way to spend a boring afternoon.

Anna Karenina - 1/10

This is my first time watching a screen adaptation of the Tolstoy novel. Unlike the novel, the characters were dry, and the romance, which was one of the main element of the story simply did not exist.

The infatuation looked stupid, like a rock falling in love with a tree, uninteresting.

Everyone involved in the making of that film owes me a personal fucking apology...Christ what a waste of a lot of funny people.
No kidding. Funny people can't always make up for dreadful material.

The Descent - 5/10
Eh, couple of pop out scares but the ending didn't really tell you anything.
Not bad, just......decent.

2012

FX were cool, got a little too CGI at times though. It was nice to see L.A. get destroyed instead of NYC for a change

As for the story... well, nobody goes to a flick like this for that anyway 8)

Wet Hot American Summer - Seen this movies tons of times and it never gets old. The "going to town" scene with "Love is Alright Tonight" by Rick Springfield playing in the background is possibly my favorite movie scene ever.

Julie and Julia - 7.8/10. Pleasant enough, and mindless. Meryl Streep was really good.

Trainspotting - 9/10

A much better Boyle film than Slumdog. Lively visuals with an awesome soundtrack.

Bruno (8/10) - Not as funny as Borat but has wild shock factor type scenes.
Up (5/10) - Didn't live up to the hype...actually pretty sad. I thought it would be just a fun comedic animation...not really.

Nosferatu - 8/10

5ive Girls - 6/10
(I know it has received pretty shitty ratings, but I've definitely seen horror movies that are much worse.)

'Where The Wild Things Are' - I give it 8/10.
A really delightful film. I read a couple of reviews of it beforehand and some seemed to be undecided on whether or not it was wise of Jonze to give the Wild Things quite emotional, adult problems to dea with, resulting in Max - the young boy - to at some points play a kind of 'parent' role towards them....having himself previously been quite a wild child towards his mother. Because of this, he then sees the error of his ways and returns home, now a good kid.

At times, the inner problems of the Wild Things got a bit tedious. I'd much rather watch them bouncing around tearing shit up. Plus, James Gandolfini voicing the main Wild Thing was a bit off-putting...all I could see was 'mob boss'.

Thank You for Smoking - 7/10 - decent flick, I'll have to watch it again for a final say.

Crank - 7/10 - Not as good as Crank 2 but still killer, could have done without the car on the escalator scene but other then that it's a great cheese ball flick.

Fantastic Mr. Fox- 7/10. Pretty enjoyable... some laughs, mostly from the characters' facial expressions. My friends and I were the only three people in the theatre.

In Bruges- 8/10. Great stuff. The whole cast was on-point, and the movie was nice and darkly comedic.

Taking Woodstock (2009) ~ 9/10

Great storyline, even if it was romanticized to hell and back. Or, maybe it was all the pot smoke I was enjoying at the time. Either way, fully enjoyable.

Dust Devil - 9/10

Awesome story, awesome look, my only gripe is the main actor. He got on my nerves here and there.

Towelhead 8/10 what a hot sexy movie

Watching aaron eckhart fingering a 13 year old virgin and seeing his blody fingers coming out of her pants.

Jasira rubbing herself to orgasm with the 10 yo boy right next to her, also getting off in class.

Asking her black bf to shave her, the few sex scenes they had were great

I loved it
