Alice in Wonderland - 6.5/10.
It was alright. The girl who played Alice though totally couldn't hold her own and was quite a lousy actress. Helena was actually alright acting-wise. Johnny was...well, he's doing his kooky shit again, so you already know what that's like. It didn't really live up to the hype - I was expecting more from it.
Just a heads-up if you're thinking of taking your kids to see it, apparantly, kids are coming out of the film halfway in tears. The only reason I can think of for kids to be doing that is maybe down to Helena's character - for a young child The Queen Of Heart's big, fuck-off face along with her constant screams off 'OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!' may scare some kids.

Precious - 8/10.
Damn, this was a good film. A lot of reviews talked about how graphic it is..and it really is! Points lost for not really being able to understand what the main character was saying when she was narrating.

4/10
This movie has gotten very mixed reviews but I disagree with you. I just watched it last night and thought it was hilarious and very dark. Ray Liotta was cool in it too. I would give it an 8.5/10.

Much Ado About Nothing (1993) - A delightful adaptation of the classic Shakespearean comedy starring Kenneth Branagh (Benedick) and Emma Thompson (Beatrice). Branagh, also responsible for adapting the work for screen and directing, shines as Benedick, you can tell he loves what he does, and it rubs off on the rest of the cast. Other notable roles include Denzel Washington as Leonato, Dr. Wilson from House as Claudio*, Kate Beckinsale, in one of her first, if not her first role, as Hero, and an amazing comedic performance by Michael Keaton as the constable.
The only bad decision as far as this film goes was making Keanu Reeves "The Bastard" be the main villain of the film. I know it's cliche, but he really doesn't have the chops to pull off a role in which dramatic acting is a necessity.
It's not too long (a little less than 2 hours), so if you don't like it, you won't feel like you wasted too much of your time. If you like this film, I would recommend you move on to some of Branagh's other adaptations--my favorite being Hamlet.

7.5/10

*Robert Sean Leonard. I know his real name, but he plays Wilson so well, he has nearly become Wilson.

Tiptoes - hands down one of the most absurd movies ever made. Everyone and their brother should watch it. That's all I can say about it.

Shutter Island

Didn't want to go to this one because I'm about 5 chapters into the book and didn't want to spoil it. But then I did anyway. This movie is fucking GREAT. I seriously loved it so much I'm going to go ahead and finish the book.

Descent Part II - The original was awesome, and this one was pretty good too I found. The first one is still far superior but this one was entertaining. I liked the ending and I'm really curious to see what the backstory of this is going to be.

Ghost of girlfriends past

Lots of eye candy in this one, had no idea my favorite VJ from much music Amanda walsh was in it. The 80's scene were great with emma stone and good music. Still Jennifer Garner is one of the most overated actress lookwise and talentwise. Bonus points for all the great scenes with my all time fave actor Michael douglas 7/10

agreed, although i'd rate it a bit higher, probably 8/10, that sherrif was a cocksucker and i couldn't wait for him to bite it. I really like this franchise, if your claustraphobic it'll creep you the fuck out, and those cave dwellers are fucked up as well, loved the scene when the chicks were in their shitter.

the aviator-9/10 hadn't seen it since it came out, another great scorsese movie. Decaprio was damn good as hughes.

from paris with love-7/10- I liked it, typical action with lots of killing, def the best time i've had watching a travolta flick in quite awhile.

Just back from a screening of The Runaways....mmmmm

Giving nothing away...

The Rodney Bingemheimer character potrayal was horrid
the Kim Fowley guy nailed it.

All the actresses....uncanny likenesses and fairly solid acting.

Not bad. I give it a B-

The Usual Suspects - 8/10. I already had the twist spoiled for me before I watched it, so that took away some of the surprise. Still a great flick though, and Kevin Spacey is the man. What a great actor.

Witchmaster General. I don't even know what to rate this.

Wow. What a bad movie this was. The acting's horrible, the casting's horrible, the sound's horrible.

It would've been better, if it was cast properly.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be though.

There are some thinks I liked, and many things I hated,
but for what Zombie did to the Sam Loomis character
he should be hung by the balls over an open flame.

For a light comedy it's one of the few I could see watching several times, Kingsley and Tea Leoni were an odd paring and it totally worked.

You have got to be kidding me. That movie was one of the most contrived pieces of garbage I've seen.

I just watched (most of) Forgetting Sarah Marshall again. Still about a 9 for me. Lots of great stuff.

Good to see Shutter Island getting good reviews, think I may have to watch all of that film. I've seen the ending though so know about the twist at the end. Still, Imma go see it despite that.

Anyone seen Exit Through The Gift Shop? I'm going to see that next week but even though it's free I'm wondering if it's worth the journey there.
